We are now the official sponsors of 'The Coffin Hole' at The Flinders Golf Club. The Club has made it a tricky hole to navigate, but when it comes to funerals, we make difficult times easier at MPF.

We’ve just set up our marquee at Hole #4 (the Coffin hole) at Flinders Golf Club where we are pleased to be sponsoring Flinders District Lions golf day tomorrow. Proceeds go to their Splash project which provides much needed support for homeless people in our community.

Yesterday Andrew and I visited Mornington Bowling Club to present prizes and share information about our services.

Their club rooms provide a beautiful space for gatherings including funerals and memorials.

We've hit the headlines ... (well actually just P6) but there's an article talking about our Small Family Farewells which we developed as an option for families opposed to large gatherings. While we still conduct traditional funerals these small in-house gatherings are increasingly popular.

This is me, Julie, working on Christmas Day 45 years ago ... nothing's changed that much ... (except, well yes, the hair colour and the addition of a few wrinkles :–)

Most importantly though, is this message: We will certainly be working again this Christmas / New Year 24/7 for those in need.

And for those of you who will be missing loved ones at the table this Christmas, our hearts go out to you. We hope that you will be comforted by beautiful memories.

If you've ever arranged a funeral for a loved one, you would have been asked to provide the genealogy details required by the Dept of Births, Deaths and Marriages.

This can be a difficult process to get right, especially at a challenging time.

If you'd like to save your Next Of Kin time (and perhaps stress) later on, please fill out the PP–BDM form found via this link, https://www.mpfunerals.com.au/forms then place it with your important documents and perhaps provide a copy to your NOK as well.

Downloading these forms will make funeral arrangements easier and less stressful. Important information can be located and documented prior to meeting with your funeral planner.
