Our Story

Althea Company Pty Ltd aims to improve the quality of life of Australians suffering from debilitating conditions by providing education and patient access to high quality medicinal cannabis products.

Althea Company was founded in Melbourne in 2017 with a view to acquiring the necessary licences and permits to import, cultivate, produce and supply medicinal cannabis for eligible patients across Australia. In May 2018, Althea commenced sales of five Althea branded medicinal cannabis products to eligible patients across Australia.

Althea’s team of medical science liaisons across the country help educate health care professionals about medicinal cannabis and provide clarity and support to navigate the complexities of regulation and patient access.
