To this day 16/3/2020 our little clinic opened.

I would have never thought, in the week following, that we would be in our first State of Emergency! Our first week seeing patients.

I’m glad we never stopped seeing patients and stuck with our belief in gold standard and equitable care.

I’m glad we saw our sickest patients face to face and gave them some comfort in very dire circumstances.

I often think of all them, their families… I’m glad I did those home visits and gave people dignity and care.

I cannot say, it hasn’t been a huge challenge.

Sometimes in your hardest, darkest times you learn the most. I must confess, I have learned a lot!

I do focus on all the blessings, the privilege that we could help people in hard times.

The blessing of our wonderful team of nurses, reception and admin who stuck by and worked tirelessly, truly and dearly caring about our patients. It is really hard for them as they read my face and know someone is in real trouble.

Our wonderful doctors who share a passion for helping patients, providing equitable healthcare and who genuinely want to make a difference. Helping those who struggle and help those who are sick. We hope in your time with us you have a chance to spread your wings and fly to your fullest potential.

Lastly, but most importantly thank you to the ones who checked in when times were incredibly tough, I cannot thank you enough. In particular, I would like to thank my dear wife and kids for all of their support and sacrifice, it hasn’t been easy on them.

Look forward to looking after all of you for many years to come.

We will be closing early tomorrow in keeping with our fire plan. Please enact your plan and please keep cool and safe.

Tomorrow, 4/2/26, has been declared a Total Fire Ban for Central zone which includes the Dandenong Ranges. It is also forecast as Extreme Fire Danger Rating.
As you can see on the grassland curing map below, the state is very dry now so what does this mean for fires? Dried
fuels will ignite quicker and the rate of spread increases and this coupled with some forecast elevated winds make for a dangerous combination.
So take care, stay informed and discuss your fire plans with family and friends

We’re also delighted to share that Dr Mathew Agnew will be staying with us for the next six months.

We’re really looking forward to continuing to work with them during this time, and we hope to see them back with us again in the future.

We’re absolutely thrilled to announce that Dr Emily Eyles will be staying on at the clinic!

We’ve loved having Dr Emily complete some of her rotations with us and are so excited to continue having her as part of our team.

We know our patients will be just as happy as we are to have her with us.
