BodyVision 2018 at my Nth Balwyn studio which is now Helenico Deli.

6 years teaching every class under the sun.

The timetable was big- 26 classes a week.

They were fun years and it’s great to have the memories and these videos documenting the journey so far of 16 years.

The progress for Silvana has been pretty quick.
2 weeks ago she was squatting her body weight and now she’s squatting with the 25 kg bar.

She’s walking straighter when she leaves a session with a smile on her face.

Taryn is advanced with her squats at a lower level which she does easily.

We look at others not with negativity but with a sense of motivation to do better and be more capable.

There’s always going to be people who are stronger and that’s inspiring to keep that belief that one day you’ll be able to lift that much or squat that low too.

Well done and 💪💪

Here is our beautiful Lorraine working on her balance as she chats away about the latest novel she’s reading 😀

It’s Lorraine’s 86th birthday today and she’s back at training 7 weeks after having a hip replacement.

She will be joining our group training sessions next week.

We’ve been working one on one for 2 weeks getting her confidence up to rejoin them.

Honestly, she didn’t need the PT sessions as she is amazing in her movement and strength.

Balance is important to work on as well.

Lorraine is an avid gardener, reader and loves walking her dog every morning and afternoon.
There’s no excuses here, it’s all living life to the fullest and positive outlook on life.

She is our inspiration here at BodyVision🩷🩷

Silvana started training twice a week exactly one month ago.

When she started she was lacking mobility and balance as well as confidence in herself.

She is 63 and has been meaning to start earlier but never got there.

Her squat depth was very limited and she’s been working on getting lower each week.

She finally reached the depth goal after 4 weeks so we’ll get her really comfortable with that for a couple of weeks then we’ll start adding more weight.

She is working on her balance with lunges a well.

I’m very proud of Silvana for her great work and dedication to herself.

She can already see the differences in her movement and strength from week one to now.

The saying use it or lose it applies to nearly everything in life.

The good news is, it doesn’t take long to start improving your movement and therefore your life.

Strength work transfers into daily activity and that’s a great reason to start sooner than later💪

I’m going retro Michelle of 12 years ago for my

I used to be a raw food teacher- yes there was a course for that🤩

These energy balls are my modification of a couple of recipes I found online.

Cinnamon cashew balls-

1 cup roasted cashews
1 shredded coconut
1 cup dates
Pinch salt
1 tsp vanilla
2 tbs almond butter
Cinnamon- as much as you like

Coconut, strawberry balls-

2 cups shredded coconut processed in food processor
1 tube condensed milk
Mix together and roll in crushed freeze dried strawberries

I want to start by saying how truly grateful I am for everything you’ve taught and shared with me through the Nurture and Nourish program until now.

Your guidance, care, and the depth of knowledge you bring have meant so much to me .

I’ve overhauled every way I see food and diet and I’ve taken away lessons that will stay with me literally forever.

I know and have experienced first hand the success of the program and the way in which it gives you back control of life and that’s a pretty amazing feeling.

SLOW DOWN THE MOVEMENT💪

I’ve been working on being more intentional in my reps. Slowing down the negative phase of the movement (3 seconds) and a pause.

This makes the muscles work under tension longer and creates a great foundation for when you increase the weight.

What I’ve found with myself and my clients is when you’re only focusing on the weight lifted, you can down grade the repetition and lift poorly, with less form.

I am all about safety and technique and doing the minimum amount of work for maximum gains.

So slow down, focus on form and you’ll love the growth you get, muscle definition and above all progress safely and effectively.🥰

Weightloss coaching in action.

This client started the program with a lot of stress and rules around food and eating.

Today’s call highlighted just how far she has come with her mindset and beliefs around food.

She is stepping into her power when it comes to weekends like Easter and realising that she is in control.

She is so much more relaxed around food and has adjusted to her diet beautifully and is dropping fat and reshaping nicely.

Looking internally at your thoughts and actions is nearly always a factor at succeeding in losing weight.

Your thoughts go with you wherever you are so it’s a great idea to learn what makes you do the things you do if you want to lose weight and keep it off.

This client mentioned how the things she has learnt, she is applying to other areas of her life as well.

Semi private session-45 mins of work on 5 exercises.

We call the first 2 exercises the indicator exercises.

Indicating our strength increases each week.

Even one repetition increase each week indicates we are getting stronger.

Just when you think you can’t do 1 more rep, you find it in you to do it the week after.

These sessions are totally for you if you like a challenge and love getting the best out of yourself each week.

Term 2 is starting on the 20 th April and there are 2 spots available for Tuesday 7:30 am.

Even if you already go to a gym, this 1 session a week will teach you more about lifting than you have learnt in a lifetime ( speaking from experience )
