Today we had the privilege of training the incredible team from Kateeny Childcare in lifesaving CPR and first aid 💚
As we mark International Women’s Day, it’s a powerful reminder that women are less likely to receive CPR and less likely to survive cardiac arrest than men. At Community First Responders Australia, we are committed to helping change that 💪
By empowering more people with the confidence and competence to act in a medical emergency — for both men and women — we are helping ensure that every person has the best possible chance of survival when every second counts 🙌
Our training also features our growing CFRA female manikin team — Roxy, Britney, Tiffany and Stacey — allowing participants to practise CPR on female patient models. Increasing awareness and confidence when responding to women in cardiac arrest is an important step in improving survival outcomes.
A huge thank you to the Kateeny team for their enthusiasm, teamwork and commitment to protecting their community.
Every beat counts. Every responder matters.
