Medical Skin Needling or Microneedling is also known as Collagen Induction Therapy, due to the production of collagen and elastin - the treatment generates. The treatment uses tiny needles or micro-needles on a medical-grade dermal pen that is moved over the skin to create tiny, evenly-spaced controlled puncture wounds on the skin. During the collagen induction process, the hand held device will pe*****te through the epidermis but does not remove it. Since the epidermis is only punctured, it will heal rapidly. Microneedling is the only skin rejuvenation treatment to target and regulate 3 key skin cells ( keratinocyte, melanocyte and fibroblast) without compromising the integrity of the epidermis.
