Not all fertility journeys are created equal. Some turn women into warriors, survivors, & extra-strength superheroes.

In Chinese Medicine fertility is not just a medical process. It’s emotional, mental, & deeply human. Every path is different and every journey is seen, held, & honoured.

Our clinic family has welcomed some gorgeous new arrivals this year. I’m not sure if these little treasures will ever fully understand how loved they are and how hard their parents fought to get them here safely.

Supporting these super women & getting to meet the precious little humans they create is beyond any words ❤️❤️. I’m so full of gratitude for this work.

On Monday we begin with a return to self. In the deepest Yin of Winter we return to rest. A reminder that rest is sacred & that life begins with a breath. Tending to the reserves of the Kidneys (our true Essence) & tuning into our will. We rest, not because we are behind, but because we are becoming.

Winter reflections…
What can I let go of so I can rest more deeply?

Am I soften into my body and the felt sense or getting stuck in the story of my mind?

What is my inner knowing/will power trying to tell me?

The first New Moon of 2025 marks the beginning of the Luna New Year - the Year of the Yin Wood-Snake. We are being asked to let go of previous hurt that holds us back & step into a new era of transcendence. Guided by our intuition & instinct.

The Snake is loyal, mysterious & private but happy to speak up when required. Being in the Element of Wood we can expect relationships & romance to be highlighted this year.

Wearing Green, Gold, or Red is believed to be Good Luck. While harming Snakes this year, will bring the opposite.

Three years ago I spent my birthday setting up my new clinic space. Little did I know that I was about to begin three of the hardest & most transformational years of my life. As I held space for many others, who were also experiencing these tower moments, I realised that these shifts were bigger than me.

This is what I learned

We are darkness & light. Learn to love both aspects of yourself. If you can master your darkness you can do anything.

Surrender to a higher power. Have faith that you are exactly where you need to be. The lessons you’re learning are helping you to level up (even when you feel like you’re on pause).

Ask for help. We are not supposed to do this alone. We cannot do this alone.

Find your community. Not everyone will understand you & that’s ok. The ones who do will show you love like you have never known.

Your path in this life is unique. No one else will fully understand it. Don’t adhere to anyone else’s standards. Create your own.

Shame & guilt will keep you locked in an invisible prison. Share your story. Speak up. You do not have to suffer alone.

Learn to love yourself as a complete, fabulous, messy human. Give yourself the grace to make mistakes, take accountability, heal, and grow.

There is no such thing as failure. Try everything you can in this very short life (well almost everything. You know what I mean 😉).

So this year on my birthday I wanted to celebrate & I did! It was a little wild but that’s how life is supposed to be! I’m so grateful for this group of divine humans ❤️
