🌿 Have you met Charlyn? 🌿 Charlyn says “ My yoga journey started with just me, my cat, a mat and YouTube videos at home where I discovered the power of being truly present. I re-connected to a part of myself that I had lost and cultivated unconditional love and acceptance of Self which sparked my calling to share yoga with others. Yoga for me goes far beyond the mat and the shapes we make with our bodies. Yoga is a state of being and the way we show up in the world. I believe everyone can practice yoga and it doesn’t always have to be about flexibility or being able to do a headstand… I’m still working on that one myself.

I come to my classes with an intention to guide from my heart and to empower each and every person to discover how they can best support themselves and to move from that place. As a result of learning the importance of trauma informed yoga I teach in a way that is supportive, relaxed and spacious. I encourage people to focus less on what it looks like and more about how it feels, dropping out of the thinking mind and into the feeling body. An emphasis on mindful movement improves our ability to be present, gives our brain a break from all the chatter, sharpens focus and can allow for the uniting of our mind, body and soul with a felt sense of peace and wellbeing.”

🌿 Have you met Jen? 🌿 In Jen’s own words “Yoga is not just a career for me—it’s a way of life. I discovered yoga in my mid-20s during a time when I was feeling lost and searching for purpose. Through mindful breathing and movement, yoga helped me heal, grow, and reconnect with myself. It became my therapy and my path forward.

I believe that movement is therapy for the body and meditation is medicine for the mind.I’m trained and experienced in Vinyasa, Slow Flow, Yin Yoga, Meditation as well as trauma informed yoga practice. My teaching style is mindful, spacious, and grounding, with a focus on cultivating strength, mobility, and awareness through purposeful, dynamic flow sequences. Each class has an energetic rhythm, and I guide my students to connect deeply with their breath and body throughout the practice.”

....So sometimes when things don’t quite go to plan, you get to realise realise how awesome people are. I sent this email to the 9.30 class yesterday...”Thank you for your understanding this morning when we had a teaching mixup. My apologies that you arrived to a closed studio. This happens rarely at Seed and I know the cover teacher who forgot she was teaching was absolutely mortified...as we all would be.

Thank you to the amazing Carola (a retired yoga teacher) who stepped up and taught the session! What a blessing you were here. The rest of you buzzed around: Tataiana made tea, Denise figured out the lighting and someone else got the heating working. You all did what was needed for the session to run. Wow! What a fantastic team effort!

It takes a village to create a yoga class huh! Grateful to you all” The emails I received from our incredible community bought tears to my eyes:
