Our psychologists provide caring, evidence-based treatment for PTSD, depression, anxiety and adjustment disorders.

DVA fully funds psychology services, so there are no out-of-pocket fees for eligible veterans.

Burcu Akdeniz is an AHPRA-endorsed Educational and Developmental Psychologist with over a decade of experience supporting children, adolescents, young people, and families across school, community, and clinical settings. Fluent in both English and Turkish, Burcu is known for her eclectic warm, client-centered approach and her ability to build strong therapeutic relationships.

Her approach is collaborative and supportive, as she is constantly grounded in genuine empathy and respect for everyones’s unique journey. She brings a rich blend of expertise in cognitive and developmental assessment, evidence-based interventions including CBT, DBT, ABA, and trauma-informed care, and a passion for helping clients navigate challenges with confidence and resilience.
