Exosomes

On Good Friday we celebrated 130 years of ! This coincided with the launch of facials and The Block filming a special 'project'....

Established in 1895, Hepburn Bathhouse & Spa has a rich history dating back to the early days of Daylesford. The original bathhouse, now the Hepburn Pavilion Café, stands as a testament to their heritage, showcasing the original taps that have witnessed the passage of time.

The allure of Hepburn lies in its mineral waters, renowned for their exceptional qualities and holding a cherished place in history. These ancient spring waters, on the traditional lands of the Dja Dja Wurrung people, were at one time in danger of disruption from gold mining and timber logging. Thanks largely to the efforts of a group of Swiss-Italian immigrants, access to these therapeutic waters was preserved for future generations when the group’s advocacy resulted in the establishment of the Hepburn Springs Reserve. It’s quite remarkable that as far back as the 1860s, the government realised that the therapeutic mineral waters were more precious than gold.

A little snapshot of my summer inspo this year!

Ikaria - a book about a blue zone region in Greece which also has contains some delicious recipe ideas

Outlive - a very well articulated look at our health and wellbeing in this day and age. How we should be looking at preventing dis-ease in our bodies rather than just treating the symptoms and dis-ease when it arrives! Why have dis -ease at all if we can prevent it??

Of course this is just my non-fiction!!! I was introduced to the Seven Sisters collection by Lucinda Riley this year by my friend and I can't recommend highly enough. You will get hooked!!!!! Have you read them yet?

Recently I spoke about the ELEMIS connections around the world and Sofie is a beautiful example of a sliding doors moment as we both worked in the ELEMIS spa at The Intercontinental Hotel Park Lane London, me in 2007 and Sofie in 2012.

Sofie’s passion for ELEMIS remained and this year we celebrate 10 years of working together.
