When it comes to addressing conditions like Anxiety, Depression, and Panic Attacks, my approach is tailored for your needs. For example, I can employ a Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) model, enhanced using a mindfulness app, to help you build essential emotional regulation skills.

For anxiety and depression, we rely on tools like the DASS21 to assess and monitor your progress throughout our sessions. Similarly, if you're dealing with panic attacks, I employ the SUDS scale to measure your pre-session and post-session states, ensuring we track your improvement.

The acquisition of new skills and personal growth can also be self-assessed. For example, you can count the number of friends you create or reconnect with as a measure of your development. Our goal is to empower you with the tools to achieve lasting positive outcomes."

Your first session is the first step to a brighter future. Explore how service agreements align NDIS goals with your therapy journey.

It’s been suggested that the first session focuses on what are the participants NDIS Planned goals which are directly aligned with Therapy Goals which is focused on skills building to create behavioural and cognitive change.

Furthermore, the Psychologist can write up a Service Agreement in the first meeting to match Planned Goals with Therapy Goals and how to measure outcomes via psychological testing and/or self-reporting which can form the basis for the NDIS report.

Unlocking the path to well-being is easy under the NDIS. Learn how to access psychological services and start your journey towards mental wellness. Firstly, you must have “Capacity Building” in your Plan. Secondly, you must have either item “Improved Daily Living and/or Improved Relationships”

Improved Relationships: Helps develop positive behaviours, including social skills development. This may involve regular meetings with the psychologist as part of the behaviour management plan.

Improved Daily Living: Covers some services, therapy and/or training by a psychologist that can help to increase your skills, independence, and community participation. These services can be provided individually or in a group. This may include using break through Psychology servives to support participant goals.
