The ADA Australia team recently made the trip up to Brisbane to speak at the 2025 Coal Industry Delegate Training Conference for the ETU Queensland & NT Branch. Important discussions occurred around substance misuse and mental health within the construction industry. The delegates who attended were provided with information to take back to their members on-site around the support services that ADA Australia provide, as well as the wider conversation around reaching out for support when in need. Thank you to the ETU QLD & NT Branch for providing us with an opportunity to speak to your delegates.

"International Overdose Awareness Day (IOAD) – held on August 31 every year – is the world’s largest annual campaign to end overdose, remember without stigma those who have died and acknowledge the grief of family and friends left behind.

Our theme for 2024 is “Together we can”, highlighting the power of our community when we all stand together." - overdoseday.com
