Chirnside Park Medical Clinic runs an appointment system. Please ring 9738 0009 our friendly staff for an appointment. Every effort is made to accommodate your preferred time and GP. However, if you need an appointment when your preferred GP is unavailable; we strongly recommend that you make an appointment with any other doctor within the practice who will maintain continuity of your wellbeing. ll the doctors share access of your confidential medical history. Please Note- Emergencies will always be given priority, which may result in a delay of your scheduled appointment time. Longer consultation times are available; please ask our receptionists if you require extra time. If you or a family member requires an interpreter service, we can organize this for you. Please let us know when you make the appointment. Doctors in the clinic speak: English, Urdu, Russian, Farsi, Dari, Hindi, and Tamil

Care outside normal opening hours

The clinic provides a Locum Service (home visit) for after hours care. Ph: 132 660

For emergencies patients are advised to attend their nearest hospital or to call an ambulance. Consulting fees
This clinic Bulk Bills all patients with a valid Medicare card. However, Medicare does not cover some consultations, such as; insurance, professional driver license, Workcover, Occupational medical examinations and reports. The costs of these services are available on request. Travel vaccinations also attract a fee, which is the wholesale cost price (not covered by Medicare). All fees are payable at the time of consultation by cash or EFTPOS. Reminder system
Our practice is committed to preventative care. We may send you with a reminder notice from time to time offering you preventative health services which are recommended for your wellbeing & care. If you do not wish to be part of this system please let your doctor or receptionists know. Getting the results of any test or procedure

Your doctor will advise when they expect results to arrive at the practice. You will then be required to make an appointment to find out your results and ask what they mean for your care. In the case of an abnormal result, surgery staff will contact you to make an appointment to return and see a doctor. Management of your personal health information
