I’ve been talking a lot to friends and clients lately about social media and how noisy it’s becoming. People are all feeling the same way…
You know the feeling, you thought you would just scroll a little to ‘numb out’ maybe get inspired, the problem is that it sucks you in, leaving you feeling overwhelmed, tired and really uninspired.
Remember the days when you would bounce up out of bed with energy and loved life, let’s go there again!
Did you know the best way to reset is to actually be bored? Yep, to do sweet nothing and let your mind wander or if you can sink into meditation that’s great too, but if you’re just starting out meditation can be hard. One little thing that I use to help the process of detangling my brain, is music. Deeply relaxing music.
I know what you’re saying, but Jude, I listen to music all the time! Yes, but have you done it with intention?
I’ve found after working with my beautiful clients for over 30 years, deeply relaxing music, is a gateway into another world without overwhelm. Adding an intention on top of that, changes everything.
Just like how we work together in the studio, creating an intention and truly embodying what can seem to be a simple thing, will change the whole experience.
This practice can literally take you from feeling one way to another, to bring you back rest and digest, to regulate emotions that have been on a roller coaster from mindless scrolling.
So, I’m sharing one of my playlists with you to give it a go. My playlists take months to perfect. It’s actually one of the playlists I use in the salon.
I’m always amazed how simple practices can reignite your passions, fill you with joy and give you a glow like nothing else, in turn creating the life you want to live.
Try it, if you can get your feet on the earth at the same time, even better!
