💠 F a c e t s 💠

💎 Never, not once, have I walked past a flower and thought... “Eh! You could have been more. You would have been perfect... if it weren’t for that leaf. Or the way that petal unfurls. Or the way the light shines off of you. Or the position on the tree that you grew from.”

💎No. From every angle, every aspect, every flower I have ever walked past, as different as they all have been from each other, they were each so beautiful. So unique. So perfectly imperfect. And imperfectly perfect.

💎 In their entirety, from bud to bloom, to petal, to stem to leaf, to plant, to root system, to the space they chose to exist... every facet. Bold. Beautiful. And fearless to exist in their entirety.

💎 When we choose to stop hiding behind our insecurities, our shame, our fear, our guilt, our shyness, the appeal of playing small, and all of the walls that we put up for the world to see just incase they don’t like that part of us... or WE don’t like that part of us...

💎When we choose to shine a light on those parts of us, to own them, to love them, to be kind to them, to laugh at them, to be authentic, courageous, brave and vulnerable... we shine a light on all of those facets.

💎All those facets that make up the intricacies that are you and the complex nature of your existence are fu***ng BEAUTIFUL!!!

💎And that light reflects out. It stretches far and wide and it lights up this world! It inspires others to identify and love and accept themselves in their entirety. It inspires them to do the work and step into their power too.

As I start to venture out into the big wide world, my intention is that Hope is carried on the wings of •AIR• and sprinkled everywhere.
May each of us step out into the world with purpose and action to create the community, the country, the world, the planet that we want to live in.
May we surrender to the wind, all of the things that no longer serve us. That hold us back from growth, that keep us stuck and stiff and ridged in our ways.
May we feel safe to loosen our grip, to let go of old stories we play out over and over, and know that our loved ones and our community have our back.
May we be reminded to plant seeds of love, of kindness, of compassion, and of authenticity with each word we speak and each step that we take.
May we take hold of the things that we have learned while in our cocoons, witness our treasures and the gems we have uncovered, keep them close and wear them as sweet sweet reminders of where we are growing.
May we call back into ourselves - check in as to what feels good, and what doesn’t, and remember it’s ok to keep pressing the “refresh” button when something isn’t feeling right.
May we honour our space, our time, our boundaries, and our bodies and go as slow as we feel we need to.
And may we all embody hope, for ourselves, and for one another ♥️ .

I made a “Love Button” for my littlest one ♥️ so that she can hold it when she misses or needs me near and she can press it for a little burst of love 💓
Initially I made it to help her settle and feel me close by when we were apart.
But since being in isolation for 6 weeks, she has actually used it more often, even when I’ve been right there to hold and cuddle her ♥️
She’s been using the flowers to type me messages, and pressing the red heart button to send them ♥️
She’s been holding it to fall asleep, bringing it around the house with her, and even keeping it on her desk♥️
I’ve loved watching her find her own way of using it, especially given the current climate... it’s so good to know she has another outlet, another form of comfort, something that she trusts and knows that is all hers, and all for her ♥️ .

It might feel like chaos out there. It is. But in this moment, you have a choice to turn off the media, turn down the volume.. to close your eyes... take a big deep breath... and snuggle into yourself deeply, gently and with care and consideration for yourself, your loved ones, and for this beautiful planet we inhabit.
These are certainly times of great change, huge societal and deep inner shifts, and an incredible opportunity to get still...
To get simple...
To stop and feel..
Taste...
Smell...
And to see.
To be present, both inwards and outwards, no matter how weird, uncomfortable or scary it may seem. This moment-in-time global hibernation period is an invaluable opportunity for us as individuals and as a species to reflect and decide what it is that we value enough, what is important enough, and what is necessary and needed to take with us to the other side and level up.. and also what is it time to let go of and leave behind ♥️ @ Mount Dandenong, Victoria
