Perfection isn’t real, I mean …. just look at social media
However, Persistence is everything!
Strength gains, muscle gains, fulfilment gains, health gains, unholy gains, none of these require perfection to achieve.
They do, however, require persistence.
Speedbumps are going to come for you.
There will be days and weeks when your training isn’t feeling the best and you’re not probs getting enough rest.
That’s okay!
Hands up if you sometimes don’t have motivation in the Winter to train.
Hands up if you’ve trained on bad sleep this week.
Hands up if you haven’t felt like you’ve made gains for a little while.
ok look, I know my arm is sore.
I bet yours is too ;)
The single most important factor for your movement practice to result in any kind of gains is for you to show up.
Get yourself to those doors, and everything else will be figured out along the way.
There is a reason we all drop off our movement practice at various points. It’s hard asf! There are so many external factors and internal voices that make it hard for us to show up.
But they’re lying!
Your movement practice is for YOU.
For YOUR health, YOUR enjoyment, and YOUR longevity.
We are right here.
You do not need to persist alone.
There is strength in numbers, and our numbers are growing.
We’re all on this journey together, let’s make it a fun one!
We don’t do perfection here. We do dragging your ass in, sometimes swearing through your warm-up up but always walking out proud that you came.
