Happy New Year, everyone, and what an amazing and crazy year it's been. It flew past so quickly. It has been so much fun, from hosting a number of painting workshops, teaching ear candling, and tarot and to the reception team, together creating 4 amazing markets, bringing together 40 businesses from around Melbs, well done! A huge shout out to Bridget , Hetty , and Lauren .lly, who keep me going and hold me up! These strong, independent, and intelligent beings are a blessing and behind .apothecary.
2024 was the year of big spiritual growth and changes that I will never forget. Visiting friends in the UK, to climbing the Tor in Glastonbury and connecting to the St Michael's Ley Line (to then later learn to dowse naturally back home) to make our wishes come true you know what I mean. Then, to head to Malta to visit family and friends was the best thing I could have done. I connected to many faiths, represented with ease, and found a family bloodline that I will forever cherish.
Once I got back to Melb, the changes were in play, our little shop we out grew, and so the challenge to build and move began. Little did I know it was one of the wishes I made at the Tor, but here we are. To the team of practitioners and , our hero, thank you. To newfound friends and practitioners, thank you. Thank you for believing in me and coming along this journey. Journey's are not meant to be easy, but hell, they have taught me more than I have ever found in a book! So my message is to trust you are where you are meant to be until you know different.
Bring on 2025, and what it has to teach me and my team we are ready!

And so the build is on its way to progress! I love the fact that the peach bathroom is gone and the green 💚 that people voted for looks amazing! So happy with the colour.
Joy, Helen, and Dee have been busy washing walls down to see if we need to paint, but luckily, we just need to touch up ceilings and some trim. That's hundreds 💯 saved, yay! We have already spent a total of 48 hours cleaning, moving, and arranging, and we have more to go, but we are progressing!
I got stuck into the Teak Room's fireplace and started peeling off decades of paint. To find that the bricks are from around 1860’s – 1940’s, as we have tuckpointing, a very well-known trade with black mortar/pointing revealing itself. So, we aged the property roughly around 1930-1940s. Dee and I felt a female presence as the lights started flickering. Hahaha, we can't go anywhere together, anyway she was happy we were there.
Jason has been busy framing up the Walnut and Honey room in the main retail space. It is slowly coming together. A massive THANK YOU for the team giving up their long weekend to help get the build started!

WE ARE MOVING at the end of November 2024!
It has been the most educational ride of my life owning and building a business from scratch and at the same time as teaching and living!
The stars have aligned once again. The team and I will be moving to our new location at 800 High St, Thornbury next to the Thornbury Picture House and the Doggy Day Care.
This means we will have 4 rooms available, including a Salt Therapy room and a retail space full of amazing health products. Our community has grown and we can't keep dancing between 2 rooms anymore. It's time to shed the old and shine the light once again but brighter.
I am so grateful 🙏🏼 for listening to the universe and for their guidance (they know who they are). I will miss our little shop, but the doors and wallpaper are all coming, so her charm will always be with us.
So right now, I'll be seeing clients as normal until the middle of November. There will be limited availabilities as we pack, clean, and deconstruct, ready to build the new space. The reception team will be the point of call as always. They hold us all up and keep us all going!
