So excited to send these beauties out into the world. My workplace is hosting a staff artisans market, so in between marking essays, I've been gathering and preparing my wares. These are silk eco-print scarves, and watercolor paper prints. I love them all so much, its going to be hard to let them go!

I just came across this lovely video I made a few years ago. I'd love to update it (add a voiceover and new photo!) but can't remember which platform I created it in!! Ooops.

Anyway, here's a little introduction to art therapy...

I experienced some burnout last year, and part of what I learned in my recovery was the importance of fun and play. This year I've been enjoying making music again, and have been inspired by my doggo muse, Sally Noodle, to write some quirky hound songs. This one's for all the pawrents, a reminder to take your furry friend on a sniff walk.

Come on a sniffari walk with Sally Noodle and friends.A sniffari (sniff safari) is the best thing for your doggo: Mental stimulation, stress reduction, explo...

Gosh, it's been a big year! I just realised I haven't posted here since March.

This has been a week of completions... I've been supervising an Art Therapy Masters student at the hospital and she has just completed her placement - congratulations! And I taught my last two classes in the Bachelor of Art Therapy for the trimester yesterday. One of my students gave some beautiful feedback, saying 'You're the best teacher I've had in this course'. Happy tears!

Deep breath in, loooong breath out.

Am currently on a 'marking retreat', working through assessments most mornings, then spending time wandering on the beach, photographing pebbles, reading, journaling, painting... Some gentle time before I begin as a provisional clinical supervisor in a full time summer unit of Clinical Pastoral Education (training for spiritual care practitioners).

It all feels big. I'm tired. And I'm grateful for these incredible opportunities to begin to support the next generation of developing practitioners.

Gratitude to be visiting Kaurna Country .
