Time has come to hang up the pool net and pool brush as I prepare for the big R ! Just letting everyone know I will be retiring at the end of this swimming season and will only be taking on equipment installation and repairs until such time ! So if you are looking to upgrade any of your equipment now will be a good time to do it !👍

Recently replaced this 12 mth old cartridge filter which kept clogging up and causing the system to run inefficiently and customer was fed up having to constantly clean the cartridge so on good advice decided to upgrade to a sand filter and could not believe how much clearer the pool became in just 24hrs and how easy it was to maintain the filter compared to the cartridge filter ! 🙂 that’s another happy customer and that’s what it is all about 👍

Replaced this filter today look how the glass media holds the algae and the pool kept going green even after backwashing , I prefer to use sand, also the MPV needed to be replaced and it was more cost affective to replace the filter and replumb the pipe work to work more efficiently with less elbows going into the filter ! Good for another 5 yrs now 👍
