PROJECT UPDATE | WOOLWORTHS EMERALD HILL
Following a successful Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) phase, Insitugroup Queensland is making steady progress on this landmark retail development for Woolworths.
This behind-the-scenes video features aerial footage and insights from our team driving the build forward.
Located in Brassall, the large-format retail centre spans a substantial 25,500m² site and includes 6,000m² of premium retail space.

PROJECT COMPLETION | MORAYFIELD CARWASH & COFFEE DISPENSARY
In May 2025 Insitugroup Queensland completed the construction of the $1.9m Carwash and Coffee Dispensary for MyCore Properties, Nichols Constructions and Lead Project Management.
Designed by SQ Architecture, the project features a brand-new 5-bay carwash with 4 vacuum bays and an integrated dog wash, supported by an adjoining office and plantroom building. Complimenting the site is a vibrant double-storey lightweight structure housing a drive-through coffee dispensary with an upper-level storage room. The entire site was upgraded with new concrete pavements to enhance functionality and flow. This highly functional facility is a welcome addition to the Morayfield Central precinct, delivering convenience and quality in one sleek, purpose-built destination.

PROJECT COMPLETION | MERIDIAN VILLAGE PRECINT 2
Delivered in just 10 months for Griffith Group, this vibrant mixed-use development in Clyde North brings together retail, childcare and convenience in one dynamic location.
Meridian Village Precinct 2 consisted of a 1,300m2 Dan Murphy's with a drive-thru direct-to-boot, a 103-place Nido childcare centre, a Guzman y Gomez Mexican Kitchen with drive-thru and a 2,800m2 Large Format Retail centre now home to Petbarn, Supercheap Auto, Jaycar and more.
Designed by Cottee Parker Architects, with town planning and landscape architecture by Human Habitats, the $22.0m precinct officially opened in June 2025.

PROJECT COMPLETION | COLES ROMSEY
Located just an hour from Melbourne’s CBD, Coles Romsey is a $22.0m Design & Construct project delivered for Coles Group Property Developments. The project introduced a state-of-the-art KIT 105 store while undertaking significant infrastructure upgrades.
From managing complex site conditions to trialing innovative Coles initiatives, every detail was executed with precision and expertise by our highly skilled project team, in close collaboration with Urban (Superintendent), ATG (Edison Engineering) and KD Engineering, whose contributions were instrumental in the project’s success.
Officially launched in February 2025, the project stands as a testament to exceptional coordination, problem-solving, and teamwork, earning high praise from all stakeholders and setting a new benchmark for construction excellence.
Working alongside the Department of Transport, the team also delivered major roadworks within a tight timeframe, ensuring seamless integration with the new retail space.

Exciting News from Insitugroup Queensland!
We are proud to share that Insitugroup Queensland has been awarded the Woolworths Emerald Hill project—a large format retail development in Brassall, Queensland. This project spans a 25,500m² site and includes 6,000m² of premium retail space, reinforcing Insitu Group QLD’s reputation to delivering quality projects tailored to our clients’ needs.
Our involvement began with a successful 12-week Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) program, during which our team worked closely with Woolworths and the design team led by Thomson Adsett Architects. This collaboration ensured careful planning and ex*****on, paving the way for the next phase of construction.

PROJECT COMPLETION | COLES TRARALGON
The Coles Traralgon development project commenced with an 8-week Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) phase period to identify value management opportunities and design efficiencies for the 1.97-hectare greenfield site in Traralgon, before commencing construction. Designed by Select Architects, the project included the construction of a Coles supermarket, Liquorland, pharmacy, cafe, childcare facility and a carpark, along with the full internal fit out of the Coles supermarket.

This $27 million design and construct (D&C) project for Coles Group Property Developments, in partnership with Building Principals, was successfully completed in August 2024. Delivered in just 11 months, it involved close collaboration with the Coles Development Group, neighbouring developers, and the Latrobe Valley Council, with the scope extending to the construction of new roads and surrounding infrastructure. PROJECT COMPLETION | ST HELENA MARKETPLACE
The St Helena Marketplace refurbishment, completed in September 2024 for St Helena Marketplace and Pomeroy Pacific, showcases a seamless collaboration of highly skilled professionals. Designed by i2c, the project included a comprehensive upgrade to the shopping centre's external façade, featuring new canopies, entry portals, planter boxes, and a quarter-acre of bluestone paving. Two-thirds of the building was re-clad, enhancing the overall entry experience. Inside, the mall was revitalised with new floor finishes, modernised ceiling coffers, feature lighting, and a complete strip-out and refurbishment of the public amenities, giving the space a fresh and contemporary feel.

Executed with precision by our project team and contractors who meticulously maneuvered people and materials safely, allowing the centre to remain fully operational throughout the project.

It's official: site works have commenced on the mixed-use retail and childcare project, Meridian Village Precinct 2, in Clyde North for Griffith Group. The project consists of a Dan Murphy's with drive-thru direct to boot component, Nido Childcare Centre, GYG and a Large Format Retail building housing Petbarn, Supercheap Auto and other national tenants. SOCIAL | IG FAMILY DAY 2024
Our annual family day was held at Melbourne Zoo this year and it was an absolute blast! From majestic lions to graceful butterflies, we had a wild time exploring the animal kingdom. Elsa and Spiderman swung by to join in the fun and fairy floss. Seeing the joy on the little ones faces as they interacted with their favourite characters and animals was priceless. A big thank you to everyone who came out to make this an unforgettable event, it was great to see everyone and their families having a good time.
