Founder of The Inward Movement ★ I decided to live the life I have always dreamt of and continue to chase my dreams every day. As a student of yoga for over twelve years, I find yoga to be a healing tool for the body and mind. Emphasizing the (re)connection and appreciation of one’s body and acceptance of it’s abilities is a crucial component of my teaching. Using gentle yet vigorous asana practice, meditation, assists, and breath exercises, I guide my students to be mindful and kind to their bodies while deepening their sense of self. I enjoy practicing and teaching various yoga styles from exploring the subtle aspects of restorative yoga or yin yoga, any level hatha classes, power yoga, to vigorous vinyasa practice with a focus on arm balances.

The last classes I taught before going on maternity leave… exactly three years ago now. 🥲
I kept teaching a few classes a week right up until 37 weeks in both my pregnancies and kept practicing right until (and during!) both births.

Yoga was my anchor throughout pregnancy. It supported my body, steadied my mind, and helped me stay connected to myself and my baby.
It’s still the number one thing I recommend during pregnancy (along with nourishing food and lots of rest, of course).

I feel so grateful to now be guiding weekly prenatal classes at holding space for other mamas on this sacred journey. 💛
It’s an honour to support them through movement, breath, and presence each week. 🫶🏻
