The last classes I taught before going on maternity leave… exactly three years ago now. 🥲
I kept teaching a few classes a week right up until 37 weeks in both my pregnancies and kept practicing right until (and during!) both births.
Yoga was my anchor throughout pregnancy. It supported my body, steadied my mind, and helped me stay connected to myself and my baby.
It’s still the number one thing I recommend during pregnancy (along with nourishing food and lots of rest, of course).
I feel so grateful to now be guiding weekly prenatal classes at holding space for other mamas on this sacred journey. 💛
It’s an honour to support them through movement, breath, and presence each week. 🫶🏻
