Eat Love Live

Eat Love Live Healing relationships with food & the body holistically. Dietetics & nutrition, physiotherapy & more Welcome to Eat Love Live!

Eat Love Live is a team of dietitians and health professionals who help clients heal relationships with food and the body holistically, and with heart. Eat Love Live specialise in nutrition counselling, eating disorder treatment, support with disordered eating, non-dieting health management, general health and wellbeing. Our client services include dietetics and nutrition, physiotherapy and music therapy, with education and supervision on offer to health professionals. We are a dynamic, compassionate and inclusive organisation that strives to foster a brave space where clients feel supported, safe and empowered. We are committed to challenging the normalised rhetoric of diet culture and oppression of people in marginalised bodies and identities. We advocate at a systemic level, intra personal level and continually evaluate our own internalised bias in an aim to be the most supportive practitioners we can for our clients. As practitioners, we uphold the values of inclusion, respect, and empathy. We intend to work with integrity and courage; holding space to have tough, meaningful and necessary conversations. We do not believe that people need to ‘tick a box' to be worthy of treatment but rather that all distress around food and body is valid and deserves support. We aim to work collaboratively with clients, supporting and empowering them to be driving their own treatment. We assist clients to make lasting changes to their health behaviours which have a significant impact on decreasing their risk of illness. We are passionate about helping people to build a more positive relationship with food and their body. Fostering a connection with hunger and satiety and listening to these internal cues rather than external cues like time and place. We live in a culture so oppressive of anyone who doesn’t fit the ‘ideal’ and so confused about what ‘Health’ really is. At Eat Love Live we aim to provide a safe place where you can break down this information to determine what is real and what is not and most importantly what it means for you and your body! We believe that you are the expert of your body. We have the skills to help you get back to listening to it and trusting it. We are experienced health professionals who work with empathy, kindness and compassion. We have a host of clinical and life experiences and are ready to work with you where ever your journey begins.

When we balance the scales, we do more than correct injustice — we create a future where every woman and girl in Australia stands not in the shadow of inequality, but in the full light of opportunity.”

Today we celebrate International Women’s Day 2026 and Australia’s theme: Balance the Scales.

Balancing the scales means more than acknowledging inequality — it means taking action.

It means creating communities where women feel safe.
It means ensuring women are heard.
It means building real access to opportunity, support, and independence.

At Eat Love Live, we believe nourishment goes beyond food.
It’s about connection. Empowerment. Practical support.

Because justice isn’t just written in law — it’s lived in everyday spaces.

Today, we commit to moving beyond symbolism and into tangible change.

💛 Support women-owned businesses
💛 Create safe, inclusive spaces
💛 Listen to lived experience
💛 Act with purpose

When we balance the scales, we don’t just change systems — we change futures.

Please join us in welcoming Megan to the team 🤍

Megan is a Registered Psychologist supporting adolescents (15+) and adults to feel seen, understood, and reconnected with their authentic selves. She knows that starting therapy can feel daunting, and prioritises creating a safe, inclusive, and compassionate space where you feel genuinely welcomed and respected.

Warm, authentic, and creative in her approach, Megan works collaboratively — honouring that you are the expert in your own life while gently exploring what sits beneath the surface with curiosity and care. She embraces the messy, complex, and deeply human parts of life with openness and respect.

Megan has experience across schools, private practice, and workplace mental health settings. She is particularly passionate about supporting those experiencing disordered eating, eating disorders, and body image distress, recognising the intersections with trauma, neurodivergence, and gender identity. She draws on evidence-based approaches including CBT-E, SSCM, DBT, CBT, ACT, EMDR, attachment and schema-informed therapies — always tailoring her work to the individual.

At the heart of Megan’s practice is a commitment to meeting you where you are and walking alongside you. Therapy isn’t about pushing or leading — it’s about meaningful presence, compassion, and supporting lasting change.

This February we celebrate 5 amazing years of the phenomenal dieitian Marina at Eat Love Live. Marina has supported hundreds of people in deepening their understanding of themselves, their relationship with food, body and how it intersects with their neurotype. We are lucky to have her as part of our team. Thankyou Marina 💜

Jo welcomed the opportunity to work with and on this important story (link in bio).

What we are seeing in GLP1-RA medications is likely the tip of the iceberg! Now is the time to be advocating and collaborating on safe prescribing guidelines to support those in our community with, at risk of or with a history of eating disorders. We are calling for limitations in telehealth prescribing, eating disorder screening, referral to a dietitian to manage malnutrition risk and mental health support as needed. These are powerful medications but for some any metabolic benefit is outweighed by the risk to quality of life, mental health and malnutrition.
