Zone 2. Between the shoulder blades.

You know the spot. Dull, persistent, always there.

This isn’t just a stretch - it’s your shoulder and opposing hip releasing together. The way the body is designed to move.

Where else are you holding? Drop it below and I’ll make the next one for you. 👇🏾

Somewhere along the way, we stopped listening to the body.

Not just our own - collectively. We built systems around productivity, diagnosis, and symptom management. We separated the mind from the body, the individual from the community, the scientific from the somatic.

And in doing so, we lost something fundamental.

The understanding that the body is not just a container. It’s a living, fluid, resonant system - designed to receive, process, and transmit frequency.

Your fascia - the connective tissue webbing every muscle, organ, and bone - is 70% water. Sound travels through water at 1,500 metres per second. That means every sound in your environment is moving through your tissue. Not past it. Through it.

We were never meant to live in the kind of noise modern life produces. Fluorescent lights. Digital overstimulation. Chronic stress hormones. Disconnection from nature, from rhythm, from each other.

And we were never meant to heal in isolation - intellectually, pharmaceutically, alone.

Sound healing isn’t a trend. It’s a return. To something the body always knew. To the frequency underneath the noise.

This room exists to remind your system what that feels like.

Heat rising through the legs. A deep breath that arrived on its own. More space to breathe. Pain that eased. The body quietly reorganising itself.

This is what happened in the room at Tissue & Tone - my first long-format Human Garage workshop at Sound of Soma.

It was beautiful how quickly everyone picked up the principles, softened in real time, stayed so present with themselves and their experience. Tuning in. Letting the pressure releases be felt and move through.

Still reflecting on it. Thank you to everyone who came and trusted the process. 🙏🏾

Because pressure is meant to move through the body. Stress, emotion, physical strain - when the body is working well, it processes and releases. But when it can’t, that pressure gets held. Layer by layer, until restriction becomes your baseline and tension feels normal.

Fascia & Frequency is the next workshop designed to move it 🌀

2 hours of Human Garage fascial maneuvers and live sound healing - working through the body until restriction becomes ease.

Hey, I’m Jack.

I’m a Human Garage () certified fascial maneuvers coach based in Melbourne - and I’m here to help you find your way back into your body.

Most people have never heard of fascia. Until something stops working and nothing explains why.

Fascia is the connective tissue web surrounding every muscle, organ and bone. It responds to stress, injury, posture, emotion. When it tightens, you feel it everywhere - but can rarely locate the source.

I think of the body as a finally tuned instrument. When the fascia is free, everything flows. When it’s restricted the whole system compensates - and you feel it as pain, stiffness, fatigue, disconnect.

My work goes directly to that layer. Releasing restriction. Restoring ease. Helping your body reorganise from the inside out.

I also work with Sound healing, Reiki, and voice - because this work is about the whole of you, not just the parts that hurt. It is about how your whole system responds to life.

Sessions are now open at Sound of Soma, Melbourne . I also come to you - workplaces, events, sports teams, performance groups, dance companies.

Big news. I’m officially certified with Human Garage as a Fascial Maneuvers Coach.

60 hours of course content. 6 years studying the body academically and theatrically. Years of working with real bodies, real stories, real energy, reading what’s showing up beneath the surface and helping it release.

I’ve spent a long time trying to find the actual essence of what moves us - and I keep coming back to fascia. It’s not just connective tissue. It’s a living record. An emotional archive. It stores everything the body has held, processed, and not yet let go of.

This certification didn’t change what I believe - it deepened it. And it means I’m now fully qualified to guide group classes and 1:1 sessions using the Human Garage method.

If you’re curious what this work feels like in your own body - join me this Saturday at Tissue & Tone at Sound of Soma. Otherwise, stay tuned. Something’s building…

Your elbow holds every time you almost reached for something.. and didn’t.

Every time you wanted to pull someone closer and held back.
Every time you needed to push something away and couldn’t.

It’s all still there.

This is how you release it.

Your nervous system is constantly receiving signals. The question is - how clear is the line? When fascia holds tension, it’s like static on the frequency. The information is still coming in, but it’s distorted. Muffled. You feel it as brain fog, restlessness, a body that won’t quite switch off.

Sound and fascial release work together to clear that static. When the tissue unwind and the sound moves through - the signal gets clean. You think clearer. You rest deeper. You feel more like yourself.

A few ways to experience this with me:
🌀 Nervous System Reset Class - Saturdays 10am.
🌀 Release - Thursdays 6:30pm.
Focuses sessions to release, regulate and come back to yourself.

💠 Tissue and Tone - Saturday 18th April. A 2-hour deep dive. 90 minutes of fascial release followed by 30 minutes of sound healing. This one goes deep. Learn the tools to reset at home.

Drop a 📡 or a 🌊 below if you’re coming or DM me to find out more.

Your ankles affect everything above them. Stiffness here creates compensation patterns that travel up through the knees, hips and spine. Most people stretch the ankle - but what it actually needs is a fascial release through counter-rotation.

This 30 second technique rebalances the pressure across the joint and lets the tissue unwind.

Try it and tell me what you feel.

Your fascia holds stress the way a towel holds water. Fascial maneuvers - pinning, locking, counter-rotating the body - help tension rebalance across the whole system. This is how the body releases what it’s been holding.

Watching a bee move through flowers reminds me that so much of life is guided by sensing patterns rather than explaining them.

Bees don’t analyse the flower. They sense their way there.

Watching them move through the world like this reminds me that understanding doesn’t always begin with explanation - often begins with sensing patterns.

Learning Spanish unexpectedly changed the way I began to understand the world.

When I studied the language in high school, I became fascinated by the patterns within it - especially the way verb shift depending on context. Spanish often communicate communicates meaning through structure and rhythm rather than long explanations.

Up until that point, much of my education in English had trained me to prioritise explaining myself. In school, ideas often needed to be laid out step by step, justified, and articulated in depth in order to be considered valid or understood.

Spanish felt different.

Meaning could be sent through context, rhythm and the relationship between words. What wasn’t explicitly said could still be understood.

I found this incredibly freeing.

Learning Spanish didn’t just teach me another language - it shifted how I listen. It showed me that meaning doesn’t always need to be fully explained to be felt or recognised.

In a strange way, it also helped me understand embodiment. It helped me stay in a state of curiosity while studying the body and mind, rather than only memorising what lecturers taught.

I began blending my own experiences of the body with what others had already explored and tested.

At times it felt as though the body was quietly pointing towards something we still don’t fully understand - perhaps because we haven’t remembered how to listen to it properly again.

There is still so much we are uncovering. And much of it will likely come through this kind of subtle listening.

When we speak, we aren’t just producing words. We are sensing at the same time. The body is feeling tone, rhythm, pressure, and subtle shifts in meaning as communication unfolds.

Language isn’t just something we think. It’s something the body understands while it’s happening.

My journey began with reclaiming my voice.

Not just singing - but learning how to express what was actually inside me.

For a lot of people the throat holds more than we realise.

Tightness in the jaw. A lump in the throat when emotions come up. Words that stay unspoken. A quiet feeling of holding back.

The throat centre is closely connected to expression, communication, and truth. When the body begins to soften and the nervous system settles, space can return to this part of the body.

This next journey in the series explores the Throat Chakra through sound, vibration, and stillness - allowing the voice and the body to gently open.

A 90 minute sound healing journey.
