✨ Mullin’ over my experience with Mullein ✨

I’ve read so much about how Mullein supports our lungs – helping to clear out debris and gunk so we can breathe deeper and fuller. But what I’ve come to realise through my own journey is that our lungs also hold something much deeper… grief and sadness.

Whether we smoke or not, when sadness is suppressed it can keep us from fully breathing in life and embracing all it has to offer. Often, when we’re avoiding one emotion, we end up running from them all.

Recently, I began taking a beautiful Mullein tincture to support my lungs – and wow! Not only has it helped me breathe more deeply, but it has also brought forward emotions I had been holding onto. These murky, hidden feelings rose up for me to finally acknowledge and heal.

What an incredible experience – thinking I was simply assisting my body, yet finding a whole new emotional insight into what I’ve been running from. 🌿💨💚

Now, I move forward with greater clarity, compassion, and self-love during this powerful eclipse season.

Mullein is well known for its strong soothing action on the respiratory system. It is known to ease dry coughs and hoarseness, and acts as an expectorant to shake up lung congestion. It is indicated for allergies, asthma and bronchial afflictions. Externally an oil infusion of the flowers is used for earache, and ear infections. The roots have strong affinity with the kidneys, bladder and gastrointestinal tract. It is also a wonderful lymphatic stimulator and works to move through any glandular stagnation.
