Nina Green provides warm and down-to-earth mental health Counselling for women.
Nina recognises that Counselling isn’t a ‘one-size-fits-all’ experience, and her approach draws from a toolkit of evidence-based therapies that can adapt to suit a wide range of needs, including:
🌱’Third Wave’ Cognitive Behavioural Therapies such as ACT and Compassion Focused Therapy,
🌱Motivational Interviewing,
🌱Helpful resources and skills drawn from contemporary Mindfulness practices, and
🌱Trauma informed practice, including sensory modulation and emotion regulation skills.
In addition to clients experiencing anxiety, depression, or navigating big life changes, Nina is especially passionate about working with:
🌱 women living with chronic or acute illness, or navigating healthcare systems,
🌱 those looking for support in healing complex trauma or overwhelming or chronically stressful childhood experiences,
🌱adult children of parents with mental illness or emotional dysfunction.
Nina strongly believes that mental health isn’t ‘all in our heads’ and that physical and structural factors can impact our well-being in real ways.
