• There have been reports of people becoming severely unwell and requiring medical care following consumption of ‘Uncle Frog’s Mushroom Gummies’ in Australia.

• People are strongly advised not to consume these products.

• Anyone who develops unusual or severe symptoms after consuming these products should attend their nearest emergency department.

• People are advised to return or safely dispose of any remaining product.

• The Victorian Poisons Information Centre can be contacted 24/7 on 13 11 26 to provide more information about poisons and what to do in suspected cases of poisoning linked to this product.

Bowel (or colorectal) cancer is the second most common cancer in Australia. Some 14,000 Australians are diagnosed with bowel cancer each year.

Around 90% of cases can be successfully treated if the cancer’s detected early.

Australia’s National Bowel Screening Program is free and has the potential to save your life.

Who needs bowel screening?

Everyone aged between 50 and 74. If you’re in that age group, you’ll be sent a free bowel screening test in the mail every two years. It’ll be sent to the address on your Medicare card. If you don’t receive it, you can request another one.

Breast cancer is the second most common cancer in women in Australia. About one in eight women will be diagnosed by the time they’re 85. Men can also develop breast cancer, but it’s much less frequent.

Thanks to ongoing research, the most common types of breast cancer now have good long-term outcomes, especially if the cancer is found and treated early.
