We are a team of dedicated people who are very passionate about living an active and healthy lifestyle. We also understand that with every active lifestyle, we have to find ways to calm our mind and take some time out. Our journey to finding balance in our lives have lead us to bringing our passion and learning into creating this space, Liquid Room, for individuals to restore their senses and experience transformations. With our combined experiences in yoga teaching, running, triathlon, outdoor adventures and corporate cultures, we are able to tailor our services to a broad range of individual's or group's needs. We offer Floatation Therapy in a room setting rather than a capsule, creating a more spacious floating experience, as you surrender your body and mind into full relaxation. You will be floating in highly concentrated Epsom Salt water, rich in Magnesium, which not only has an immediate effect on pain relief and elimination of stress, but also promotes ‘whole-brain’ thinking. Many athletes, writers and artists have experienced enormous benefits from floatation therapy utilising floatation tanks.

⭐️✨🙏 SO GRATEFUL for this privilege to guide these amazing young individuals, 2 groups of year 12 PE students of Sandringham College once again last week.

We were able to explore not just on how Yoga enhances flexibility in our body but also improves flexibility and focus in our mind.

⭐️YOGA + MEDITATION practices can help dissolve any discomfort that has been stored in our body from our past experiences, which will then help dissolve any negative emotions that keep showing up.

💛For younger individuals, this ancient practice will help them bring deeper awareness into their body, slowing down their over stimulated mind. We are all aware that more and more of them are feeling anxious as a result of absorbing so much content from their surroundings; often so overloaded with knowledge and ideas that they are unable to emotionally process them fast enough.

⭐️The more we can teach them to focus on their body, the more we can help them understand ways to release these pent up emotions, therefore helping them learn how to prioritise response over reactions.

🙏We closed both our sessions with a Sound Bath Meditation, further allowing them to have moments of stillness, another great practice of Deep Focus and Letting Go.

👉We offer PRIVATE INDIVIDUAL or GROUP session during the week. Private session offers a more unique and targeted experiences.

… According to neuroscientist Dr. Andrew Huberman, how you breathe doesn’t just reflect your emotional state—it controls it. Your inhales and exhales activate different parts of your autonomic nervous system, giving you real-time control over how alert or calm you feel.

💨 Inhale = Alertness (Sympathetic Activation)
✨When you inhale, especially through your nose, your diaphragm moves downward. This causes your heart rate to increase slightly, signaling your brain to become more alert. This is because inhaling activates the sympathetic nervous system, your body’s “fight or flight” pathway. It’s ideal for waking up, increasing focus, or preparing for action.

😮‍💨 Exhale = Calm (Parasympathetic Activation)
✨When you exhale slowly and fully, especially through your mouth, your heart rate decreases. This triggers the parasympathetic nervous system—the “rest and digest” response. It promotes calm, reduces stress, and helps your body recover. The longer and slower the exhale, the more powerful the calming effect.
