We are a team of dedicated people who are very passionate about living an active and healthy lifestyle. We also understand that with every active lifestyle, we have to find ways to calm our mind and take some time out. We offer Floatation Therapy in a room setting rather than a capsule, creating a more spacious floating experience, as you surrender your body and mind into full relaxation. You will be floating in highly concentrated Epsom Salt water, rich in Magnesium, which not only has an immediate effect on pain relief and elimination of stress, but also promotes ‘whole-brain’ thinking. ✨It’s not magic. It’s not a miracle. It’s rest.
👌👍Yesterday I posted about where I was at. Pain all through my body, nausea, loss of appetite, bad sleep (I’m generally a very deep sleeper and don’t wake up) … what happened 24 hours later?

👉Today I want to tell you I’m feeling better — and why that matters.

I really rested. Non-active conscious rest. Sleep. Recovery Rest from warm baths, to getting treatments (this helps move it quicker).

So what I do I mean?
It is not the kind of rest you squeeze in at the end of the year when you’re supposed to be enjoying yourself — burnt out, running on empty, barely present.

That’s not recovery.
That’s survival mode with a backdrop.

I’ve realised I was doing that this past 2 months. And I am someone routinely do recovery at Liquid Room. I’ve dropped the ball. I was letting my stress stack.

In the past, Week after week, month after month, I would tell myself I’d reset over the holidays. But by the time the holidays came, I was too far gone to actually enjoy them.

👉So this time I did something different. I went on holiday to recover. Not to escape, not to tick a destination off a list — but to genuinely step away from everything that pulls at my attention and give myself the space to come back to myself.

No distractions. Just me, some stillness, and the intention to actually feel better.
And it’s working.

👉Recovery isn’t a reward for grinding hard enough. It shouldn’t be something you only do when you collapse. It needs to be weekly. Monthly at least. It needs to be built in, not bolted on at the end when you’re desperate.

🛑If you’re waiting for a long weekend or Christmas to finally breathe — that’s too long. You deserve to feel okay now, not just when you’ve earned it.

Integrate recovery frequently. SILENCE is the best way. SENSORY deprivation is the best reset.

I’m still in it. But I’m better. And I wanted you to know.

‼️🛑✋The pain, the nausea, it is extremely uncomfortable!

👉When your body finally stops… it sends the bill. 🧾

I’m currently on holiday, it’s been raining, and I’ve been forced to be completely still. And my body is making me pay for the last 4 weeks.

The pain. The nausea. The dizziness. It’s not random — it’s my nervous system finally exhaling.

After weeks of carrying stress, managing personal challenges, and being constantly activated by the news and social media… my sleep got disrupted, my cortisol stayed elevated, and my body just kept pushing through.

Then I stopped. I had 4 hours of treatment. The rain took away every excuse to keep going. And now all of that accumulated stress is moving through me physically — and it is not comfortable.

Here’s what I want you to understand 👇
This is what happens when we don’t take rest seriously.

Rest doesn’t disappear because you ignored it. It just waits. And when it finally arrives, it arrives loudly.

The nausea, the pain, the dizziness — that’s cortisol leaving. That’s your body processing what your mind refused to slow down for. It’s not a breakdown. It’s a release. And it’s part of surrendering — not fighting it, not pushing through it, just being still enough to let your body do what it needs to do.

I know rest feels like a luxury most of us can’t afford. But this is me showing you what the alternative looks like.
🔇 Turn off the socials.
📵 Step away from the news cycle.
🛑 Stop reactivating your stress response.

Because if you don’t choose rest, your body will eventually choose it for you. And it won’t be gentle about it.
Take this as your reminder. 🤍
