Not all protein is the same! đ§ââïž Did you know that animal proteinsâlike beef, chicken, and fishâput stress on your kidneys? đČ Within hours of consumption, your kidneys go into hyperfiltration mode, dramatically increasing their workload. This can be taxing over time!
On the other hand, plant proteins (like beans, lentils, and tofu) cause virtually no stress on your kidneys and are gentler on your body. đ±đȘ
Switching to more plant-based proteins can help protect your kidney health while still fueling your body! đđ±

Did you know your mood, metabolism, and even mental clarity are deeply influenced by your mineral levels? đ§ đ„
It might sound simple, but minerals like magnesium, zinc, and copper are foundational to everything from emotional balance to thyroid function, hormone regulation, and energy production.
Even subtle deficiencies, or hidden toxic excesses like heavy metals, can quietly disrupt your well-being without you even realising it.
Thatâs why I offer comprehensive mineral and heavy metal analysis, to uncover whatâs really going on inside, and help bring your body back into balance through personalised nutritional support.
Because when your minerals are in harmony, so are you. đ
âš This isnât about guesswork, itâs about listening to your body and supporting it with tools that are both scientifically grounded and holistically aligned.
If youâre navigating low mood, anxiety, energy dips, hormonal shifts, or just feel âoffâ, letâs explore the mineral connection and create a plan that supports your unique needs.

Sometimes, thirst is mistaken for hunger.
That snack craving could actually be your body telling you it needs hydration, not food!
Staying hydrated can help you avoid unnecessary snacking and support overall health, from better digestion to improved energy levels. But how do you know if you're truly hydrated?
Thatâs where our Inbody 970 Body Composition Analyzer comes in.
It shows you intracellular vs. extracellular hydration, helping you understand if your body is absorbing the water you drink.
What youâll discover:
â  Intracellular Hydration (water inside your cells)
â  Extracellular Hydration (water outside your cells)
â Â Total Body Water Balance
â Â Excess Fluid Retention
đ Optimize your hydration, avoid unnecessary snacking, and feel better overall!
We live in a culture that glorifies hustle. But healing doesnât happen in a rush.
True restoration takes place in the parasympathetic stateâwhen your nervous system feels safe enough to rest, digest, and repair.
đż During rest, your body:
Rebalances hormones
Calms inflammation
Supports digestion + detox
Rebuilds energy and resilience
So if youâre feeling guilty for needing restâŠ
Please remember:Â Rest is not laziness. Itâs nourishment.
Let your body exhale. Thatâs where healing begins.

Oxidative stress occurs when your bodyâs free radicals (unstable molecules) outnumber the antioxidants that neutralize them. This imbalance can lead to cellular damage over time, affecting everything from your energy levels to your skin and brain health.
So, where does it come from?
đ§ŹÂ Common Causes of Oxidative Stress:
- Environmental toxins (pollution, chemicals, heavy metals)
- Chronic inflammation (from diet, stress, or illness)
- Poor diet (lack of antioxidant-rich foods)
- Exposure to UV rays (sun damage)
- Smoking & alcohol consumption
- Chronic stress (mental, emotional, or physical)
- Sedentary lifestyle (lack of movement and poor circulation)
đȘ Key Nutrients to Protect Your Body from Oxidative Stress:
Certain minerals, antioxidants, and vitamins play a crucial role in protecting your cells and boosting your bodyâs natural defense system:
- Minerals like zinc, magnesium, selenium, copper, and manganese support your bodyâs antioxidant enzymes and help neutralize free radicals.
- Antioxidant-rich vitamins like C, E, A, and DÂ work together to strengthen your immune system, reduce inflammation, and protect your skin and tissues from oxidative damage.
- Glutathione, often called the bodyâs "master antioxidant," helps detoxify and protect your cells.
- Polyphenols from colorful fruits, vegetables, and herbs provide extra protection by neutralizing harmful molecules before they can cause damage.
The good news? Functional nutrition and mineral & oxidative stress testing can give us the clarity we need to restore balance and optimize your bodyâs antioxidant defenses.
đŹÂ Test, donât guess. Through comprehensive testing, we can identify mineral deficiencies, toxic heavy metals, and oxidative stress levels â so we can create a personalized plan that helps reduce stress, boost energy, and support long-term wellness.

What is Nutritional Therapy?
Nutritional Therapy is a complementary therapy that can help you on the road to good health and overall wellbeing. It is a Holistic Approach to help people balance their mind, body and soul, and hence find their unique path to greater well-being. It is suitable for those with chronic conditions and those who are interested in enhancing their health and wellbeing.
Evagelia can ensure you a friendly and confidential service.
What to expect at your consultation:
1) Before the initial consultation you will be asked to fill out a health questionnaire and food diary, that the therapist will latter use to analyse your case and plan a personalised nutritional programme for you.
During your initial consultation you will discuss your symptoms or concerns and you will work with the therapist to plan some changes to your diet. If necessary the therapist will run a mini bioresonance test that will show a clearer image of the condition of your internal organs, energy levels and more. Nutrition advice and recommendations will be given to you. This appointment should last about an hour and a half.
2) At the follow up you will review your health symptoms and will plan further diet changes. You may also want to discuss possible supplements or tests if this is appropriate. The follow up appointment should take about 45 minutes to one hour.
âAccept responsibility for your life. Know that it is you who will get you where you want to go, no one else.â - Les Brown
