✅ Always use therapeutic-grade oils and ensure they’re safe for canine use. Avoid tea tree, clove, or wintergreen oils, which can be toxic to dogs.

I use and recommend Pure and Organic Oils from:

*Eco Modern Essential Oils
*Sydney Essential Oils
*New Directions

🧪 Instructions:
- In a double boiler, melt coconut oil, shea butter, and beeswax until fully combined.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Stir in essential oils gently.
- Pour into a small tin or balm container and let it set.
- Label clearly and store in a cool, dry place.

🐶 How to Use:
Apply a small amount to clean paws, minor scrapes, or irritated skin. Distract your pup with a treat to prevent licking until absorbed.

Research shows veterinarians are four times more likely to die by su***de than the general population, and two times more likely than other healthcare professionals.

For country vets like Dave Morrell, the pressure of long hours and challenging patients can be immense, something the industry is looking to address.

Checking your dog’s p**p might not be the most glamorous part of pet care, but it’s an incredibly important way to monitor their health.

Stools can reveal early signs of illness, dietary issues, and even parasites.

Here’s why it matters and what different types of p**p may indicate:

Why Checking Dog P**p is Important:
‼️ Early Illness Detection:

❗️Changes in colour, consistency, or frequency can signal underlying health problems- Digestive Health.

❗️Loose stool or excessive mucus might indicate food intolerance or gastrointestinal upset.

❗️Parasite Monitoring – Worms, eggs, or abnormal coatings can be a sign of intestinal parasites.

❗️Hydration & Nutrition – Hard, dry stool may suggest dehydration, while greasy or sticky p**p could point to digestive enzyme deficiencies.

What Different P**p Traits May Mean:

❗️Firm, well-formed stool – This is a sign of good digestion and overall health.

❗️Soft or watery stool – Can indicate stress, food intolerance, infections, or dietary imbalances.

❗️Black or tarry stool – May signal internal bleeding in the upper digestive tract.

❗️Green stool – Could be a sign your dog ate too much grass or has an infection.

❗️Yellow stool – Can point to liver or pancreatic issues.

❗️White, chalky stool – Might suggest too much calcium or bile duct problems.

❗️Excessive mucus – Often associated with inflammation or parasites.

❗️Visible worms or eggs – A clear indication of intestinal parasites needing veterinary attention.

Regularly checking your dog’s stool can help catch health issues before they become serious. Keeping an eye on their bathroom habits, combined with a nutritious diet and routine vet check-ups, ensures they stay happy and healthy!
