I’m very excited to let you know that I’m joining the team at Be Kids Therapy, a beautiful, brand new paediatric specialist and allied health clinic in High Street Armadale! I’ll be moving my practice there from the beginning of August and will be offering consultations for new referrals of babies aged up to one year, follow up of current patients, antenatal consultations and assessment and release of anterior tongue tie for babies up to one month of age. If you are already booked to see me after August 1, we will be in touch to reschedule your appointment. I can’t wait to see you there!

Flu vaccine is now available! During the pandemic there has been significantly reduced circulation of the influenza virus compared with previous years... Now that restrictions have been eased and borders reopened, we are expecting a resurgence of influenza this year. Flu vaccine is free for children aged 6 months to 5 years, pregnant women and those aged over 65. I also recommend that any adults who spend time with your baby should be vaccinated. The current recommendation is that you can get your flu vaccine and COVID-19 booster (if eligible) at the same time. Contact NEST, your usual GP or your health care centre for more information.

We've been distracted by other viruses lately... but it is more important than ever to get your flu vaccine! Social distancing and hand hygiene helped to reduce the amount of flu in the community last year but now that restrictions have relaxed, we are likely to see much more flu this year. Flu vaccine is free for children aged 6 months to 5 years, pregnant women and those aged over 65. I recommend that any adults who spend time with your baby should get vaccinated. There should be a 14 day gap between getting your flu vaccine and COVID-19 vaccine. Contact NEST, your usual GP or your health care centre for more information.
