Today, AIMS celebrates International Biomedical Laboratory Science Day.

Each year on 15 April, we recognise the invaluable contributions of Biomedical Laboratory Scientists and the critical role they play in healthcare systems around the world.

We are proud to support the this year's theme: Biomedical Laboratory Scientists Promoting Sustainability in Clinical Diagnostics.

This theme highlights the growing responsibility of our profession — not only to deliver accurate and timely results, but to do so in ways that are environmentally responsible, efficient, and sustainable for the future of healthcare.

As a member of the global community through the International Federation of Biomedical Laboratory Science, Australian Institute of Medical and Clinical Scientists is proud to represent and support medical laboratory professionals across Australia.
