YourBreast

YourBreast The YourBreast team brings together some of Australia’s finest cosmetic plastic surgeons. There are many reasons why women may consider breast augmentation.

Based in Malvern and Richmond, YourBreast brings together Australia’s largest group practice of fully qualified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons. With over 70 years combined experience in Breast Augmentation, you can be assured of the highest standard of quality and care you will receive from our plastic surgeons. Breast Augmentation is the most sought after cosmetic surgery procedure performed

to enhance body image and self esteem. It may be to restore volume to breasts that have lost size due to pregnancy, breast feeding, age or weight loss. Breast augmentation can also help make the breasts more proportional to the rest of the body, even out breasts that are different in size or help women that have not been naturally endowed with full breasts. Regardless of your personal reason, we are here to assist you in achieving your goals. The breast augmentation market has changed significantly over the last few years. Chasing a cheaper price, some patients are now either travelling overseas to have their procedure performed by unqualified (to Australian Standards) doctors or alternatively having the procedure performed in Australia by under qualified doctors without an appropriate consultation process. You can be assured at YourBreast that:

All our surgeons are fully qualified plastic and reconstructive surgeons. We do not use cosmetic physicians. You will spend 45 to 60 minute in consultation with your Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon and this will include 3D Vectra Imaging,. You will meet face to face with your plastic surgeon and not just a non plastic surgeon consultant. Surgery will be performed in a fully Accredited and Registered Day Surgery hospital under general anaesthetic, not in medical rooms under local and sedation only. You will receive full post operative care with your plastic surgeon and plastic surgery trained nurse. We understand cost is a considerable factor when making a decision, however quality, risk and total care need to be strongly considered also. This is the reason we offer our services, including our unique Lifetime Aftercare Program to all patients at a reasonable price.

As of the 1st of July 2023, there will be a number of changes to the way in which Plastic Surgeons can practice. These changes are being enforced by the health regulators in the interests of patient safety. The YourBreast team have always prioritized the safety and care of patients and will set out to comply with these changes. These changes are summarized below.

CONSULTATIONS:
- Cosmetic procedures will require 2 consultations before surgery can be booked
- At least 1 of these consultations is required to be face to face
- A GP referral is mandatory for all consultations (no rebate is applicable to the consultation fee)
- Patients will be required to complete a standardized psychological test (Please note - a consultation cannot occur unless a referral and screening test has been performed).
- the above requirements do NOT apply to procedures with a Medicare rebate-able item number - e.g., Breast reductions, abdominoplasty, substantial weight loss procedures
- Surgery bookings can only be made 7 days after the 2nd consultation

SOCIAL MEDIA:
- We are no longer permitted to post patient photos unless they are in a standardized format
- “Comments” are no longer permitted
- Surgeons will be able to show you before/after photos at consultation
