šMenopause isnāt a time to strip away every little thing you enjoy just to fit into someone elseās āhealthy boxā.
š« I believe when we listen to our body, we can more easily implement simple yet powerful steps that fit in with our life and create positive change without misery.
āØWhen we help our bodies adjust and get back to homeostasis - that natural state of balance itās always trying to return to , everything changes. This is true for ladies on or off HRT.
š„Our energy feels steadier, our moods lift, our bodies starts working with us instead of against us.
š„° Iām just not a fan of extreme restriction and you wonāt find advice like give up wine here!
I just donāt want to live like that, so why would the ladies I work withā¦?
For some women, that might include a glass of wine with friends. For others, KFC on a Friday night.
The point is, itās about choice and living midlife on your terms.
If someoneās telling you to weigh every meal, give up everything you love, or live by a long list of ādonāts,ā theyāre not teaching you how to thrive in midlifeā¦
šTheyāre just showing you how to survive it.
And this stage of life is far too precious for that.
We deserve to celebrate our bodies and feel amazing in them, itās our wellness that matters.
