Last week we headed to Shepparton and Bendigo for The Disability Events Community - The DEC expos and made some awesome connections with the local communities.

We chatted with people with disability, their families and local service providers — hearing stories, sharing how InLife can help people live life their way, meeting new faces and catching up with some familiar ones from across the region.

Big thanks to DEC for hosting such welcoming community events, and to everyone who stopped by for a chat. We loved meeting you! 🙌

Sunday was perfect weather for the second InLife Tackle Free Carnival by FIDA!

Everyone came together at the Box Hill Hawks oval for a day of spectacular footy with our friends at FIDA - Football Integration Development Association

A huge thanks to the FIDA crew and teams who played — Ferntree Gully Eagles - All Abilities, Mazenod Panthers All Ability Football Club, Monash demons fida and Ringwood Spiders All-Abilities Sports Club.

Look at our Local Legends! It was wonderful to see the team spirit, along with some familiar faces from our first carnival 🤩

It's the second in a series of fun, gender, age and ability tackle-free Australian football carnivals with FIDA - Football Integration Development Association.

We were at this week’s .plus Able Meet at The Meadows 🧡

Lauren, Carly, Daniella, Megan and Jack came together for a big morning of speed-dating-style chats — flying the InLife flag and connecting with others across the sector. The beanies were a hit (no surprises in this weather 🧊)!

Big thanks to the Able+ team for pulling together another great event — always a good mix of fast chats and genuine conversations.

We held our first ever InLife Tackle Free Carnival on Sunday with our mates at FIDA - Football Integration Development Association — and it was one of those days that just felt right.

100 players and supporters came together at Wyndham All Abilities Football & Cricket Club Inc. There were sideline cheers, team songs made up on the fly, great goals, and canteen pumpkin soup that hit the spot.

Huge thanks to the FIDA crew, the teams who played — Lower Plenty Bears FIDA Football Club, Wyndham Tigers, Parkside Devils, Ferntree Gully Eagles - All Abilities, Ringwood Spiders All-Abilities Sports club, Mazenod Panthers All Ability Football Club, and of course our own Local Legends — and all the InLife staff who jumped in to help.

Catherine, Christine, Greg, Luke, Marie and Sue certainly are! They celebrated a winter solstice party over the weekend with our Ringwood team 🌞

They enjoyed some sausages and snacks, along with some sunny weather.

We've had a busy week with two The Disability Events Community - The DEC events in Ballarat and Geelong 😁

We loved meeting more of the local community and the live music was a real treat!

Lots of our InLife crew joined us across the two days: Andrew, Ashlee, Cobey, David Clarke and David Storey, Debbie, Georgia, Jack, Leticia, Nico, Sam and Sophie.

Our tackle free carnivals are back, with this time being played at the Wyndham All Abilities Football & Cricket Club Inc on June 22nd!

We had such a great day at One Community's Ready Set Connect event at the Sphinx Hotel Geelong today.

David and Cobey (pictured L-R), along with Ash, Dianne, Jack and Sophie had some awesome conversations.

We love that the speed dating format gives us the opportunity to chat with so many people, and we left with lots of new connections.
