Looking after the emotional well-being of others is to be human and to be kind. This news today shows that it works. I'm posting this article because NursesHeart has always focused on reaching out to nurses since it's inception 2002. The answer to so many problems today, as back then, is this simple thing of looking out for each other. Bring on innovation, productivity, staffing and optimum enjoyable performance, and more, as nurses are nurtured in the workplace.

With a shortage of nurses in regional areas around the country, a study has found some simple, inexpensive initiatives could help to retain early-career nurses.

Visiting my best friend in the Austin and Box Hill Hospitals these last 15 months, I am always so pleasantly surprised to see young nurses walk in wearing my "Nurse's Joey" pouches! Whilst I'm still selling them, it seems such 'old news' to me now, having invented them in 2003 before any nurse utility belt existed. Imagine those days. But you all make me so proud. Beautifully washed and professionally managed so they don't bulge and look ugly, you're the responsible nurses I designed them for. Thank you for wearing them well. You can see in this picture how I got the name including the location of a real Joey's pouch. Not that these existed back then lol.
