Meet Doctor George Proimos, Interventional Cardiologist and partner of Eastern Heart Victoria.
Dr. Proimos undertook his cardiology training at the Austin & Repatriation Hospital from 1992 to 1995. Post graduate training in coronary angioplasty was undertaken at Massachusetts Hospital Boston from 1997 to 1999. His interests are in acute coronary syndromes, valvular and septal closure procedures.

We are delighted to announce Dr Andrei Catanchin will commence consulting from Eastern Heart Victoria from October.

Dr Catanchin is a cardiologist / electrophysiologist with expertise in heart rhythm disorders, including atrial fibrillation (AF) and other arrhythmias. He performs both cryoballoon (‘freezing’) and radiofrequency (‘heating’) catheter ablation procedures for all arrhythmias, as well as pacemakers, defibrillators (ICDs) and loop recorders with remote monitoring of these devices.

And just like that our Boronia Practice has some nice new branding thanks to our friends at ABC of Signs. We have some more work scheduled at Boronia over the coming month making the environment more comfortable for our patients. Finding our Boronia practice is a little easier with our new A-Frame sign. Walking up to our practice from either side, the sign is clearly visible allowing our valued patients to quickly find the practice.

We often receive phone calls asking for our location at Box Hill. We're located in the East Tower of Epworth Eastern, opposite the Box Hill RSL. Enter via the main doors and take the lift to Level 9, there is often a hospital volunteer on the ground floor to assist you.
