**Gratitude That Built a Dream: My Journey from Employee to Entrepreneur**
Five years ago, I took a leap of faithโleaving my job to pursue my dream of building **Vizualtek Australia** and creating professional drafting systems. It was a daunting step into the unknown, but I was blessed to have the unwavering support of two incredible mentors: **Paul Beattie and Duncan (father & son)**.
When I first shared my vision, they didnโt just believe in meโthey *acted* on it. They entrusted me with my very first pilot project, giving me the foundation I needed to start. Iโll never forget the challenges of those early daysโnavigating the rough road of entrepreneurship with no prior business experience. But their guidance went beyond professional advice.
One moment that stayed with me was when **Duncan handed me a Bible** and reminded me of *Matthew 6:33*:
**โBut seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.โ**
That truth became my compass. Their faith in meโand their reminder to keep God at the centerโgave me hope through every obstacle.
Iโll always cherish the kindness they showed beyond businessโ**taking the time to meet my family when visiting Bathurst, NSW**. That personal connection meant the world to me and reinforced the values of community and relationships they instilled in me.
Today, as I reflect on how far Vizualtek has come, Iโm reminded that success is never a solo journey. To **Paul, Duncan, and the entire Akura-Wallandra team** who supported meโthank you. Your belief in my vision, your mentorship, and your kindness shaped not just my business, but my life.
Hereโs to the power of trust, faith, and great people who help turn dreams into reality. ๐โจ
