Did you know ACNP Members receive 20% off the Clinical Pain Management (CPM) Program by Open Pain Education Network?

For the first time, the OPEN course provides an opportunity for all healthcare professionals, including Nurse Practitioners, to learn the same shared core knowledge and skills for helping people living with pain to manage their pain without relying on medication alone. There are four awards available, each focusing on a different aspect of pain management. Complete all four awards to receive an OPEN Certification in clinical pain management — all included for a one-time cost of $280.

The Primary Care Nursing and Midwifery Scholarship (PCNMS) program supports registered nurses and midwives to complete postgraduate study to support working in primary care.

Funding has been provided by the Australian Government and the scholarships will be administered by the Australian College of Nurse Practitioners (ACNP).

Can you see yourself in an advanced role? As a nurse practitioner or endorsed midwife, you can work independently and autonomously at an advanced level. This includes being able to prescribe medicines, diagnose health problems, order and interpret diagnostic tests, formulate treatment plans and refer to other clinicians.
