S²A School of Hatha Yoga At S²A School of Hatha Yoga we teach classical Hatha Yoga,Yoga Therapy,Pranayama and Meditation. Our classes incorporate our motto, Sthira Sukham Asanam.

'Yoga' stands for union, the union of the body and mind through the breath or Prana. It was passed down over the ages as part of a spiritual development process. Hence the real purpose of yoga goes far deeper than the physical postures that is commonly advertised across mainstream media. By practicing these physical postures, a person develops his levels of concentration and focus and when combined with a consistent meditation practice, ultimately leads to what is called in yogic circles as a "single-pointed" mind. Yoga is a work-in, not a work-out! Learn classical Hatha yoga as passed down from a Guru parampara (lineage) and begin this wonderful journey inwards!

A very happy International Day of Yoga to everyone here. May the steadfast practice of yoga bring healing and good health to our daily lives.

S2AHathayoga celebrated IDY this year with Yoga for Women’s well-being classes. These were all first time yoga practitioners 😊.
As women, we get so engrossed in all aspects of caregiving and tend to forget about ourselves. Consequently our health and well being suffers. The benefits of a consistent yoga practise cannot be overstated for women, especially with the changes brought on as we age.

A post from the past for International Women’s Day.

Step out of line ladies. Change the blueprints of society’s expectations, re-write the algorithms, restructure the mould. Stand up against oppression of any kind, violence and misogyny and strive to create a safer existence for all. Shout out loud to be heard. Refuse to take No for an answer. And in the process, take with you your friends, sisters, aunts and mothers.

The world awaits the Woman you are.
