Janne Sverdloff Celebrant I am a Sydney based Civil Celebrant who creates and performs original wedding and funeral services, as well as a range of other ceremonies.

Janne Sverdloff Celebrant -Sydney marriage and funeral celebrant bringing experience, empathy and enthusiasm to the creation of a personal ceremony that is just what you want it to be... I work collaboratively to write the ceremony that is just right for each client and that creates the space and atmosphere to celebrate life as it should be celebrated. I am very lucky and grateful to have a wonderful family of my own, my husband Tim and two beautiful daughters Emma and Michelle. As a teacher of Drama, Dance and English I have enjoyed an inspiring career while developing the empathy, skills and confidence for my work as a celebrant. I have travelled extensively and followed my interests in yoga, swimming, singing and a general love of outdoor activities. With my experience in the arts and education, I know how to organise an event, to make people feel at ease and to cater to the individual. My personal life experience has prepared me well to offer the support necessary for people undergoing a life celebration such as a wedding or funeral. For more than a decade, I have lived in the Inner West of Sydney and prior to that I spent 15 years in the Blue Mountains. I have a strong connection with both locations and am happy to travel wherever as the need arises. With my love of the outdoors I am also open to more adventurous locations if that is your thing. So for weddings, funerals, naming, commitment and renewal of vows ceremonies, give me a call, I'd love to have a chat.

Today is Say Their Name Day - a day for everyone in our community to say the names of all the babies and children we have loved and lost. No matter the cause, no matter the age, we are here to say the names of your babies and children.

Join Fiona, Caitlyn and Paul and Pauline and all the others who will say the names of their little one's this year by downloading a sign, or commenting your little one's name on this post.

For families whose babies were not named you can include your baby's family name, a nickname used during pregnancy, a significant date or any symbol that is meaningful to you.

Hospital to Home is a program operating throughout Australia, that provides support within 3 months of loss to bereaved parents. This includes those who have experienced the death of a baby or infant through stillbirth (including TFMR), neonatal death or the sudden unexpected death of an infant (SUDI).

The support you need can be provided face-to-face, by phone or videoconference - it's tailored to your individual needs.

Enrolment for our 10966NAT Certificate IV in End of Life Doula Services closes tomorrow, 9 September.

End of Life Doulas struggle with being accepted in traditional medical and health environments because we lack professional qualifications. We're changing that with the 10966NAT Certificate IV in End of Life Doula Services, Australia's only nationally accredited End of Life Doula qualification.

We aim to give End of Life Doulas a new level of recognition and opportunities.
