Aesthetic Business Masters

Last weekend, I had the opportunity to connect with some of the leading companies, pioneers, and supportive businesses within our industry, exploring new ways to strengthen our systems and continue improving the way we operate.

One of my biggest focuses over the past 6 months has been creating an even better experience for our patients, while also becoming more intentional and strategic in how we run the business behind the scenes.

Our industry is constantly evolving, and it’s important that we continue to learn, adapt, and remain compliant while building efficient systems that allow us to spend less time on administration and more time focusing on what matters most.. YOU!

Happy International Nurses Day

Nursing has been such a significant part of my life and will always be at the core of who I am.

Although my career has evolved into a very different space, I feel incredibly grateful to still use my nursing skills each day in an industry I truly love. The ability to combine science, clinical thinking and genuine care for others is something I never take for granted.

I’m also so thankful to work alongside Leila. Her calm, bubbly and nurturing nature makes people feel instantly safe and cared for, and her passion for nursing is evident in everything she does.

I feel very fortunate that our paths have led us here, and that we get to support our patients together in a way that feels both meaningful and deeply aligned with who we are as nurses.

To all nurses, wherever your journey has taken you, thank you for the care, compassion and dedication you bring to others every day.

Introducing our team at Your Aesthetic

Shanai (centre) Owner and Registered Nurse

Shanai began her journey at the Royal Children’s Hospital and worked in Adolescent Health for one year, and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for 5 years. She has been working within the aesthetic industry for over 10 years now, and launched YA in 2020.

Leila (right) Registered Nurse

Leila has been a Registered Nurse since 2019 and began her career at Monash Health in Emergency. She has since completed her Paramedic Degree and now works within the medical triage sector of 000 Call centre along side her role at YA. She has been with us for 3 years now

Bree (left) Skin Specialist
Bree is our newest team member at YA. She has worked in the skin industry for over ten years. She has been a therapist, store manager and regional manager in VIC and QLD. She also has extensive experience in make up which she has been doing for over 15 years.
