Last week a beautiful mum I have been working with over the past 6 months welcomed her first little love to the world, the same week that I finished up my home care with her 🤍

There are only two more in home visits booked before my family and I take off on an uprooting journey and move from Melbourne to the beautiful Northern Rivers Region.

This one woman business of mine has grown into such a lovely fulfilling little blossom over the past two years and I am so grateful to the many families I’ve supported over the past 6 months.
As to what capacity Mountain Mother will take on in our new home I’m not quite sure… without family support to watch my baby while I work there may be more focus on my web shop and products to begin with and potentially more in person support to come once we have settled in and grown some new roots in the area.

Melbourne will always be my home, the mountains I grew up and the land I birthed my three babies, I am already homesick, but so open to this opportunity for adventure, seeing new sights and meeting new friends.

I’ll be closing the shop today and will be seeing you in the sunnier state! Our new home is a 7 min walk to the beach ~ can barely fathom this thought ☺️🫶🌊☀️🌼

The tension ease roll on has been used religiously in our house the past two weeks. With a baby who is waking constantly through the night and two older boys either screaming playing or screaming fighting throughout the school holidays, with no time or energy to get my much needed exercise in ~ my migraines and headaches have been at an all time high and my energy and nerves are shot.

Rather than reaching for the straight for the ibuprofen and coffee chaser, the best thing for me to do is drink a big glass of water, excuse myself from the chaos for a couple of minutes, step out into the sun and lather some lavender, frankincense and mint on my temples jaw and neck. Maybe stretch a little, take a huge deep breath and get on with the day. Just a small reset here and there to get me through the long days and nights 🤍
