Our Get Ready for School – A Family Learning Partnership (with Laverton Community Education Centre and Laverton Children’s Centre) has won the 2025 Learn Local Awards – Learn Local Innovation Award. 🎉

This recognition means so much because it celebrates what matters most: families, community, and practical outcomes for little learners starting school with confidence.

A special shout-out to Dr Jane Hickey — an integral cog in this program. Her research-informed approach, care, and consistency have been central to the program’s success; this award is a credit to her leadership and heart.

💙🎃 We’re so proud of our Not for profit, Beyond Labels Young Autistic boys group!

The boys had an absolute blast at their Halloween dress-up night, and we love seeing our amazing staff — including Ken — getting right into the fun with them.

This is what true inclusion looks like — joy, connection, and community. 💫

🎃💙 Celebrating Our Incredible Young Autistic Boys Group! 💙🎃

I just want to take a moment to shine a light on our amazing autistic boys group here at Beyond Labels , a space filled with fun, laughter, creativity, and genuine connection.

This group has become such a special part of what we do, and it’s been incredible watching the boys grow in confidence, build friendships, and express themselves so freely. Their energy, humour, and individuality make every session an absolute joy to be part of.

A huge thank you to Ken and all of our support staff, who don’t just show up to supervise, they join in wholeheartedly! Whether it’s jumping into games, joining in the banter, or going all-out for Halloween dress-up night, they make every effort to ensure the boys feel included, valued, and seen. 🧡

It’s this kind of dedication that turns programs into experiences, and experiences into lifelong memories. Seeing our staff having just as much fun as the participants reminds us what genuine inclusion really looks like.

We also wanted to share this beautiful photo a parent sent us at pick-up, capturing the smiles, laughter, and sense of community that make this group so special. Moments like these remind us exactly why we do what we do. 💫

We’re so proud of this group and the incredible team who make it all possible — thank you for bringing joy, connection, and belonging to every single session.

🎉 Congratulations to Kenneth — Our Steptember Superstar! 🎉

We are beyond proud to celebrate Kenneth, our Steptember winner, who clocked an incredible 545,756 steps throughout the month! 🚶‍♂️✨

To put that into perspective — Ken walked the equivalent of travelling over 409 kilometres from our head office in Brooklyn, Victoria all the way to Mount Gambier, South Australia! 🗺️

That’s a huge journey, full of determination, consistency, and heart. Every step Ken took represents his amazing commitment to fitness, wellbeing, and community spirit.

As our top stepper, Ken has also won a $200 voucher — which he’s already said he’ll be using to buy himself a new pair of shoes (and we’d say he’s definitely earned them! 👟).

Kenneth, your dedication has inspired us all — what an outstanding achievement! 👏💪
