Northern Private Hospital will ensure the growing and diverse community can access high quality private health care, it will support the busy co-located public health system, and provide Specialists and healthcare professionals new opportunities in an expanding market. Northern Private Hospital will be providing high quality private health care from early 2024.

Northern Private Hospital has teamed up with the Victorian Virtual Emergency Department to launch a new service offering direct admission for medically suitable patients with private health insurance.

This collaboration means eligible patients can now be admitted directly to Northern Private Hospital — bypassing the emergency department — for a smoother, faster hospital experience.

It’s another step toward delivering more connected, patient-centred care in our community. 💙

Honouring courage and sacrifice.

On 25 April, we pause to honour ANZAC Day—a national day of remembrance that marks the anniversary of the landing at Gallipoli in 1915 and pays tribute to all Australians and New Zealanders who have served—and continue to serve—in times of war, conflict, and peacekeeping.

ANZAC Day is a powerful reminder of the courage, resilience, and sacrifice of those who came before us. It’s also a time to reflect on the values they upheld—mateship, endurance, and compassion—which continue to shape our communities today.

At Ramsay, we’re proud to care for veterans, service members, and their families every day. Today, we thank them—and remember them.
