I’ll be honest with you. I almost didn’t post this.

It’s been months since I’ve created a Spirit guided drawing in pastel. I kinda lost the inspiration. Been feeling that my drawings are not good enough.

The last couple of weeks though, I felt that I was going to create a pastel drawing soon and then I felt drawn to create today.

I had to get this out. It started really badly. I was going to give up at one stage but I persevered. It’s not my best work, but I did it.

I didn’t think it was deserving of a place on my social media. Not good enough. Not worthy. And I know that that’s not about my drawing but about me.

It’s been a long time of working of this.. Sometimes I feel like I’ve gotten to a good place on this. And other times, I realise that it’s raising its hand to show me where I’m at, again. Healing is kinda like a spiral where we circle around the same wounds, but every time it’s a little lighter.

And when I realised this, I let go and thought F@&! It. I’m posting it, imperfections and all, because this is where I’m at right now. And that’s ok.

So here she is. A beautiful woman who waited patiently for me to bring her to life. As I drew her, I kept getting the message “ as above as it is below”. Over and over.
And I know that means that our inner world is reflected in our outer world. That although we walk this earth as a human, we are spirit at our core. We are a mirror, and yet we are the reflection.

The flower at her heart is the inverse of the flower in her crown. I love how symbolic the message came through! It always does. 🥰

Right now I’m feeling so grateful for this beautiful message, my connection with my spirit guides and also that I cracked my pastel drawings drought!!

💫 Here’s an inside look in to the home studio space I’ve created for Private Group Sound baths. ✨

Provided in the space for you are yoga mats, pillows, bolsters, blankets and eye masks for you. Just bring yourself! ✨

I can accommodate 2-7 people for a private group sound bath. Located in Seabrook in Melbourne’s west, I can also tailor a guided meditation if there is a theme you’d like to explore.

Dates and times are flexible.

A private group sound bath in my home studio suits those who might prefer coming along with a couple close friends or prefer a custom experience.

Either way, a Private Group Sound bath is a beautiful way to come together with some friends, unwind and is such a gentle yet powerful way to nourish your body, mind and spirit. ✨

✨ Meet Luna, our newly adopted pup. When I say, pup, what I really mean to say is 8 year old foster dog turned foster fail!

It’s been a tough road with her. I used to foster dogs and she was one of my fosters a couple of years ago. She came to the rescue I fostered for as an ex-breeding Mama. She was one of the most scared dogs I fostered. I was only able to get a harness on her a few times to walk her in the month I had her as she would run away from humans when they came close. And she would flinch any time anyone touched her. We knew that earning her trust would take a long time so she was adopted out to a person who was well aware of her background and what was needed to help her.

Unfortunately the new owner ended up having their own health issues and surrendered her back to the rescue. Although I wasn’t fostering anymore, I took her on so she didn’t have to go to yet another home. Those first few weeks were tough, it was right in the middle when my cat Daisy was in her final weeks with us. But I just knew in the pit of my stomach that she came back to me for a reason. It was like her little soul was calling me, so we decided to make this her forever home. 💓

It’s been almost 3 months now and she’s made so many improvements like losing some weight (she was very obese when she came back!), being able to get the harness on her to walk her now takes seconds, she’ll eat food out of my hand, she lets me pat her if we are both sitting down, she sometimes comes up to me to say hello and she doesn’t flinch as much when she’s patted. Previously she had to have her nails cut under sedation. I’ve found an amazing dog groomer who cuts her nails and I am touching them when we sit down so she gets used to the touch. We still have other things to work on her with, like getting her in & out the front door, not freezing when she sees a person on the street, not getting startled so easily and skin allergies that keep flaring up.

I know the poor baby has suffered some major traumas and it’s going to take time. But that’s ok, cause she’s home now. I’m so proud of the progress she’s made in just a few months. She’s very receptive to receiving Reiki. I tell her all the time she’s safe and she will always be with us. And I think under those big brown eyes is a bit of a goofball, I can’t wait to see her little personality emerge with time, love and healing.. 🥰
