🇺🇸 Tennessee is working toward becoming the most accessible state park system in the nation by 2030, and we are proud to support that mission.

Magic Mobility Extreme X8 power chairs from Sunrise Medical are now available in Tennessee State Parks, helping visitors with limited mobility access trails, overlooks, and natural spaces that were previously difficult to reach. The all-terrain chairs are available for both children and adults and can be operated independently or with caregiver assistance.

The Access 2030 initiative is already driving meaningful progress across the state, and this recent feature from Tennessee Magazine highlights how expanded accessibility is opening the outdoors to more Tennesseans. 🌲

“Independence was the best thing that we could possibly give him.”
For 11-year-old Xabian, life used to mean relying on others for his every move. His condition made independent mobility seem impossible.

As his mum, Caddie, tells us, “he was having trouble making friends at school… being able to drive his own wheelchair has given him so much more confidence. Now he loves to run off and just do his own thing, away from me. And the thing is, you’ve just got to let them.”
