Today we celebrate every nurse who shows up. Not just with clinical skill, but with heart. ❤️
This International Nurses Day, the global theme is: Our Nurses. Our Future. Empowered Nurses Save Lives.
Across Australia, over 450,000 registered nurses and midwives form the largest clinical workforce in the country. In aged care alone, approximately 38,400 Registered Nurses provide complex, person-centred care to older Australians every single day.
Our founder Dr Caroline Lee started her career as a Registered Nurse specialising in gerontology. She built Leecare because she believed nurses deserved better: better tools, less paperwork, and more time with the people they care for.
"We need systems that listen to people, not just make assumptions. We can't lose the person in the AI world."
~ Dr Caroline Lee, Founder & CEO, Leecare

Our Deputy CEO and Customer Support Director, Amanda Jones, is also a nurse by background, with over 30 years of clinical and education experience in acute and aged care. Today she leads the team that supports every Leecare client, every day.
As Amanda puts it: "Our superpower is running on coffee, compassion, and 3 hours of sleep, and still remembering where everything is (most of the time)." 😊
To every nurse today — thank you. 💙
