•Meet Dr Dani•

Before joining Northcote Medical, Dani worked as a plastic, reconstructive and hand surgery registrar. She has a strong interest in skin cancer management, skin checks and minor surgical procedures. She also draws on her earlier career in allied health, providing expertise in diagnosing and managing musculoskeletal injuries.

Her favourite part of being at Northcote Medical is working with the passionate and collaborative team, and the respect they have for a good coffee!

Outside of work, Dani jokes that she “collects hobbies” — she’s into hiking, road cycling, pottery, gardening, sketching, cooking, travel, and is forever trying to get better at surfing.
On days when the waves look a bit too ambitious, she’ll still head out… with a boogie board and flippers instead!

She describes herself as organised but definitely a big-picture thinker. A well-timed truth is what makes her laugh the most, and when asked what her favourite book is, she couldn’t choose because there are simply too many! If she had to name one, today’s pick would be Endurance by Alfred Lansing.

Dr Dani is currently taking new patients.

The 1st of December was World AIDS Day so today we pause to remember, honour, and stand with the millions of people around the world affected by HIV.

World AIDS Day is a powerful reminder that:
• HIV is manageable with treatment
• Early testing saves lives
• Stigma has no place in healthcare
• Prevention and education remain essential

We stand in solidarity with those living with HIV, those we’ve lost, and the communities working every day toward better access, understanding, and equality.

A simple act — getting tested, having a conversation, sharing this message — can create meaningful change.
Together, we move toward a future free of stigma and full of compassion.

Welcome To Northcote Medical

Northcote Medical is your local GP doctors clinic. We’ve been in Northcote for 30 years, assisting many patients, their families and their friends who they often recommend come and see us.

We’re a little bit different to some medical clinics. We encourage you to come in and see us for any discussion around your health, not just when you feel unwell. At times when you are feeling your best, might be a great time to have a health check and find out how to keep focussing on staying well.

For children and teenagers, we hold Preschool Check Ups, Primary Kids Health Checks and Teenage Health Checks. These sessions can be a great way for your child to get the answers to things that might be concerning them, or to check anything you might have as a parental concern for your child.

Our doctors specialise in all areas of health. We are an inclusive and welcoming clinic and every patient is provided with the highest level of medical care and compassion.
