Shane might have started out the day thinking he was in charge when he was giving Samantha plant care instructions, but it was soon pretty evident who was the 'girl boss' for the day!

This month indoor plant maintenance is a real family affair while Shane recovers from a minor medical procedure that means he's not allowed to lift anything including his watering cans.

After quite a few years working behind the scenes of Envirostyle, I'm back on the road watering and helping look after the plants as well. It's a bit of a change from behind my camera (in my other business).

If you're looking after your own plants in the office, or at home, be sure to dust them regularly.

Why do you want your plants to be free of dust?

1. You don't want dust sitting around the workplace, it doesn't look good and it's certainly not good for breathing in either.

2. It makes it hard for the plant to effectively filter the air, meaning it can't do its job properly and remove toxins from the environment.
